A betrayal

You're sweet and kind,
And always in my mind.
You grew on me,
Like a fruit on a tree.
Your intense stare,
There's just nothing that can compare.
My heart stops and doesn't beat,
I feel pain deep in my heart and in my feet.
She tries to get your attention and I act like I don't know why,
But everywhere on the inside I seem to cry.
She says she's gonna start cutting,
But she's only bluffing.
I stood by her blackmailing for about a year,
Only to protect her parents from the fear.
And this is how she repays me? By stealing my dear,
Well to her parents enjoy trying to get the ship to steer.
