I groaned. May Valentine's Day party na pupuntahan si Kesh bukas dahil sponsor ang Psych Soc, ang org na pinag-aapplyan niya. Required pumunta ang applicants sa party and since medyo clingy ang roommate ko, pinapasama niya ako sa party. "Kesh.. sorry pero di ko talaga feel pumarty. It isn't my scene!"
"Lahat na lang di mo scene! Dali na, it'll be fun! Pambawi mo na rin 'to last year, since iniwan mo akong mag-isa sa cafe para samahan sina Andreau at Roldan! Dali na, please?"
Oh. One year na pala mula nung magkakilala kami ni Andreau. Wow, unbelievable. Things pretty much changed since the day we've met. First, medyo close na kaming dalawa though di kami masyadong nagkikita since busy siya sa special OJT niya. Second, I found new friends in Ms. Marisse and Tristan. Nakakahiya man pero I treat them as my second family (of course, I didn't tell them this. Baka kilabutan sila!) And third.. mas masaya ako ngayon. Pretty good change, huh.
"Fine! Pero saglit lang tayo dun ha? Uwi tayo ng 11:30!"
"Wag ka ngang manang! Friday bukas and hello, 10PM ang start ng party. Nobody shows up on time. And this is our first college party! Don't be such a buzzkill."
"Keep calling me a buzzkill then you'll definitely go alone tomorrow."
"Eto naman masyadong matampuhin! Basta bukas ha? Don't worry about the clothes, ako na bahala dun."
"God please tell me hindi ako magsusuot ng skimpy dress or what."
A fake snore answered me quickly. Sometimes I really really want to strangle my roommate.

FEBRUARY 14.
"I'm not sure about this, Kesh."
"Zades please trust me on this one? You look great, by the way. Now woman up and walk faster!"
Ugh. Buong araw kong pilit iniintindi kung bakit kailangan pa ng party to celebrate Valentine's Day. I was surprised na maraming students ang papunta sa bar ngayong gabi. So maraming single sa campus? Ba't di ko naman ata ramdam yun?
This day sucked as ever. Ang dami na namang may hawak na roses, teddy bears and chocolates kanina sa campus. Ang bagay na bago lang ay yung prof na nagpropose sa girlfriend niya habang nasa klase. Student assistant niya ang girlfriend so.. nevermind. If I was in that class, magagalit ako. Di nagbabayad ng buwis ang mga tao para magpropose lang ang professors during class hours. Please lang, I want to learn.
Speaking of the party.. Kesh made me wear this navy blue dress and heels. Apparently may color coding pala ngayong gabi: red pag in a relationship, blue pag single, yellow pag it's complicated, pink pag heartbroken, and green.. well.. pag gusto mong makahanap ng goodtime. Sana may option na white for nevermind napilitan lang akong umattend ng party na 'to.
Medyo kinakabahan ako sa mangyayari ngayong gabi. I really don't like parties and alcohol. Nung high school marami sa classmates ko ang excited pumarty pagdating nila sa college. Exercising their new found freedom and crap. Ako? Takot nga akong malasing eh! Impulsive na nga ako kahit di pa nakakainom, what more kung lasing di ba?
