Karkat started toward his next class with his best friend, John. His next class was English, one of his better classes.
"-So, Dave was all like, 'Nah, man. AJ is AJ.' He drank The look on his face was just priceless! Next guys night you oughta come over, Karkat! It'll be a blast!"
Karkat laughed. "Maybe if Dave can keep his dumb rapping to a minimum!"
"Now, what's this about my dumb rapping? I think it's hella cool. You don't know what you're sayin', Kitkat." Dave walked up to the two males, walking on the other side of John.
"Ha! Only in your meaningless dreams, Strider!Maybe if you rapped about better stuff than just fighting or weird aliens and smuppets. Only then, and maybe not even then, would your rapping even be decent." Karkat laughed and started into his classroom. "I'll text you guys later. Maybe we'll have a class later today together or even lunch."
"Bye Karkat! I hope Kankri feels better!" With that, John and Dave walked off to whatever their classes were.
Karkat took out his schedule as well as Kankri's. They were going to have this class, and another class later on in the day, together. He walked up to the teacher's desk. Mrs. Wengler was this new teacher's name.
"Mrs. Wengler, is it? I'm Karkat Vantas. My brother, Kankri, may not be here for a few days. I need to collect his work for that time. If that isn't possible, then just today's work."
"Well, all we are doing today is introducing ourselves and a short, descriptive narrative on our wants and needs for this class throughout this school year."
Karkat thanked her and walked to a seat that was towards the back. He pulled out a scrap piece of notebook paper and wrote down the assignment. Other students flooded into the classroom and within a few minutes the bell rang and everyone sat down. Class started and he made sure to pay attention.
Meanwhile, Gamzee was in Biology, trying to pay attention, but it was hard. The teacher was talking about how the year would go and about dissecting frogs and carbohydrates and it was just too motherfucking much. He felt like he was going to die of boredom. He raised his hand.
"Yes, Mr. Makara?"
"May I up and be excused to use the restroom, Mrs. Holliday?"
"Yes, you may. Take the hall pass and come straight back."
Gamzee got up, grabbed the hall pass, and started to walk in a direction he thought was toward some restrooms. As he walked, he thought about that one kid he saw. Karkat.
The lil motherfucker has an interesting name. Kar. Kat. he looks like a cat, too. Hmm, I bet he all up and feels soft, too.
Gamzee finally found a restroom. He walked in, did his business, and walked out. He washed his hands and looked into the mirror. He reached out and touched the spot on the mirror where his nose was. "Boop."
He dried his hands and started back the direction he thought he came. Gamzee took out a paper with his room numbers on it and looked up, noticing he was on the other side of the school. It wasn't that big of a school, but still. He turned around and walked back to the classroom. He walked in.
He set down the hall pass and sat down in his seat. He noticed everyone was working on something. He nudged the girl beside him.
"Hey, uh, whatcha all up and workin on there?"
"Just the vocabulary in the text book. We're supposed to do chapter one, all fifteen vocabulary words. "
Gamzee nodded. " Thanks, I'm Gamzee." He smiled a lopsided smile and her.
"Terezi. Pleasure to meet you."
Gamzee saw that she was trying to work and stopped talking to her. He reached under his desk and pulled out the biology textbook and started working.
{A/N Hey guys!! It's been a long time but I AM continuing this story! I've just had a lot on my plate!
