Chapter 4

[HAYDEN'S POV]

I woke up next to Taylor. Wait..... TAYLOR AND I SHARED A BED!? Oh lawdy.....

I ran into the bathroom. Once I fixed myself up, I went back into the bedroom. I turned around to close the door and someone's hands grabbed me around the waist. I screamed. Taylor's hand covered my mouth. "Shh it's ok. It's just me." He whispered into my ear.

"I'm pretty sure we're the only ones up. It's only 8:25. Want to get some breakfast?"

"Uh, yeah sure."

We both walked down. His arm still around my waist. When we got to the kitchen, he slid a bowl of cereal across the table.

"So, Hayden, how do you like it here?"

"I love it. It's nice to be around people that actually care about you..."

I looked down at my bowl of cereal. Taylor didn't say anything. I heard him coming towards me. He gently pulled me towards him, making me face him.

"You know, I really, really care about you Hayden."

"Taylor don't say tha-"

"No. I mean it. Right when I laid eyes on you, I've fallen in love. And I'm not just saying that."

I looked down again.

"Hayden please look at me."

I obeyed.

"Please Hayden... please be my girlfriend. I don't know what I would do without you. I want you to trust me. I won't ever do anything to hurt you."

He had tears in his eyes... Wow....

"Please just say yes. Let me prove it to you."

I thought about it for a while. I couldn't say no.. I couldn't break his heart.. I guess I had to put myself out there eventually.

"Okay." I said shyly. A HUGE grin was on his face. But then.. he started to lean in....

"Taylor I.. I can't. Not yet." I said, pulling away. He looked disappointed, but then he understood. "Ok. I understand. Whenever you're ready, babe. I'll be waiting."he said

[TAYLOR'S POV]

When Hayden and I were done with breakfast, she went to go watch tv. I ran upstairs to wake the guys up. I couldn't wait to tell them the good news.

"GUYS WAKE UP!! WAAKKEEE UUPPPP!!" I yelled. At about the same time, everyone ran out of their rooms, looking completely worried. I couldn't help but burst out laughing. The looks on their faces...

But then they all just looked annoyed. "Why did you wake us all up?!" Aaron asked.

"I HAVE GREAT NEWS!" I shouted. They all looked interested.

"Hayden and I are dating!!!!" I said. I couldn't help but smile the biggest smile. Ever. They were surprised, knowing how shy Hayden can be. But everyone congratulated me as we went back downstairs. I'm so happy I get to call her mine....mine....mine.....mine.... There's such a nice ring to it.

[HAYDEN'S POV]

I have a boyfriend. Wow. I have a boyfriend.

All of a sudden, I heard what sounded like some sort of stampede coming down the stairs. Everyone came in the tv room yelling and jumping around with excitement. I guess Taylor told them. Before I could even speak I was asked what felt like a thousand questions.

"When did he ask?"

"How did he ask?"

"Did you guys KISS?!?!"

"ZZAAYYUMMM are y'all gonna get nasty tonight..?😏"

Wow. How immature can Nash be right now? I looked at him, and then at Taylor in disgust. Taylor didn't even laugh.. He just smirked and then winked at me... Crap...

[TAYLOR'S POV]

It's been a month since I asked Hayden out. We still haven't had our first kiss yet. I completely understand, but do you realize how hard it is not to kiss her?! Because it's incredibly hard. I wish she would just stop worrying for once and let me kiss her. *major sigh*

I try about once a week, but it never happens..
