Chapter 16

APRIL’S *POV*

-The text I sent you last night?

-I haven’t got it.

-Weird. Where were you last night?

-Home. But Cameron was with…

-Now it all makes sense. Whatever like I told you at the text we have to talk. I’ll just text you the place and the time again. Please come, it’s important.

-Yeah,sure.

 Why would he delete his text? It just doesn’t make sense, maybe he really likes me? But why didn’t he want me to talk to Chris? Is it about him? Well, I have to find out. According to the text he just sent me again I’ll meet him at 2 p.m. We’ll see how this goes. But before that I’ve got P.E.

 When I finally reach the changing rooms I feel everyone’s eyes on me. When I get to my locker I notice Keri sitting at the bench in the middle. She turns to me and says;

-Well, look who’s here? Isn’t that the bitch that ruined my whole fucking life?

-I didn’t ruin your life. This is all your fault and you know it. You fucked up big time, Keri.

-Wait let me see. You first come to the party and hang out with my boyfriend, knowing that I’m there, and now you’re defending yourself?

-If you weren’t whoring around, you could’ve been the one that was hanging out with him. I didn’t fuck up your life neither did you. But you fucked up both of their lives.

-Oh, come on! Don’t act like you’re innocent! I saw you leaving with Cameron!

-Yeah, because he fought with his bestfriend and the girl he loved was fucking with someother guy! I was the only one there that would stand by him!

-Wait…Did he love me?

-Some people have feelings unlike you of course. Well from now on, I won’t be covering for you or any shit because I saw how hurt he was and I can see that you’re not. It’s just so wrong. You don’t deserve anything, not a boyfriend,not a friend.

 She looked like she was about to cry, but still she wasn’t hurt. I wanted to hurt her so bad, pysically and emotionally. The way Cameron cried over her and how hurt he was just made me more angry towards her. During P.E. I notice that Keri isn’t there. I find Leah and the teacher tells us to start running. I notice the guys coming. Most of them wearing a tank top and basketball shorts. I see Cameron and my heart otomatically flutters. He waves his hand and Chris yells him to start the game. I shrug and continue my run. After catching Cameron staring at me a few times it’s the end of the class. We go to thechanging rooms and I get ready real quick because I notice that it’s lunch time. Maybe I shouldn’t eat since I’m going to meet Chris at the diner. I decide just to get something to drink. When I reach to the Cafeteria I notice Cameron at the line. I go next to him and he gives me a quick hug which is kind of weird. After we get our food, we look at the tables. I notice Keri and Chris at one table, Leah at another. I immidiatly start walking towards Leah. When I look back I see Cameron following me. We sit next to eachother and Leah puts down her phone and starts smiling. With a grin she says;

-So, are you guys a thing now?

 I look at Cameron with wide eyes and see him shyly smiling. He says;

-I don’t know?

-Is that a yes?

-She’s really been there for me. She’s the best.
