Hi, my name is Max, and I guess I'll tell you the story of how I became... Well, the God of this World.
I know, sounds strange, calling myself a God, but you would be surprised if you heard my story! In fact, I'll tell you.
It all started in grade 11. I was at my high school during lunch, walking around the halls, when I saw something out the window. Something flew by, flew down. I thought it was weird, but decided to investigate.
When I got outside, I saw a little book on the ground. "Death Note" it read. I gasped. "Death Note like the anime? Kira vs L? This is someone's cosplay prop, isn't it?" But I took it inside and tested it out.
I went into the Cafeteria and looked for any victims. I saw Greg, the school troublemaker, bully and overall waste of human life. I wrote "Greg Henderson, chokes on French fries trying to impress people" and waited forty seconds. "Hold on, boys, I'm gonna go get some fries!" Greg yelled, going to the lunch line.
After he came back, he tried stuffing as many fries as he could in his mouth. He choked and started coughing, wheezing. Everyone laughed, thinking he was joking. He stopped coughing 1 minute later, and layed there. He was dead!
I gasped, is it real? That couldn't be a coincidence, can it? What're the odds that Greg would go and get fries and choke on them after i wrote it. It is possible but not likely.
I decided to test it once more. If you don't write the cause of death, it'll be a heart attack. I looked at the school SL*T, Jenny. I wrote "Jenny Padalaki" and waited forty seconds. Waiting was the worst part, it felt like an eternity.
Jenny grabbed her chest and started breathing loudly. She screamed and dropped dead.
This Death Note, its real? It killed these two... No!
I killed Jenny
I killed Greg
