The car pulled into its sport. This whole thing was so well planned that even the cars parking sport was planned out.
Three people sat in the four door sports car. A twenty-something year old woman with long black hair wearing a leather jacket and black jeans. Sat shotgun in the seat beside her was another girl, no older than her. The girl in the front passenger seat had short, dark red hair, wore a denim jacket with a crop top beneath it and a leather miniskirt. The back seat contained the final person. A boy, slightly younger looking than both of the girls. He wore a t-shirt and jeans both ripped from overuse.
The black haired girl passed a piece of paper back to the boy in the back.
"what's this?"
What do you think?" The girl replied to the boy, "If you don't know the plans by now this isn't goanna go to well. You better go over them because we're starting this in five minutes so study up."
"you better not mess this up!" The black haired girl barked at the other girl.
"Hey I'm talking to you too! Don't get cocky and act off the plan. Should I have copied his paper and given a copy to you?"
The red haired girl rolled her eyes as she got out of the car, walked to the back of it and lit a cigarette ignoring the other two, the boy still getting bossed around. She approached the cars back seat window and motioned to the boy to roll it down. She rested her arms on the open window.
"You sure you want this?" The red haired girl looked toward the boy with concern, and spoke softly. "you can turn back now if you really want to, besides your not getting hurt on my account," her look indicated the boys safety was far more important to her than this plan of theirs. The black haired girl in the front seat pretended not to hear the conversation happening in the back. Still a look of disgust formed on her face.
The boy stared at the paper worried, He glanced from the paper, to the red haired woman, then to the black haired woman.
"look," the woman with black hair started to speak. "I've known you since we were toddlers, I'd be really pissed off, but if you NEED TO leave, it's your choice" Her voice was softer than it had been and she seemed to be empathetic if not a little angry, but the boy knew it was her nerves making her this way. She'd never been maliciously mean to him.
The boy looked at the paper again, and then back up. He nodded his head. "I'm okay, I can do this."
"well then times up ladies," The black haired girl whipped her door open. "let's get this done." She opened her jacket and stuffed a handgun into a hidden compartment.
The other two grabbed weapons from the back seat, slyly snuck them into their jackets and walked in the cold darkness of the night, leaving the comfort of the car and heading toward the bank.
The boy , glancing down at the paper again, took position next to the entrance of the building. The red haired girl got in line and the black haired girl by the waiting area.
The night was as dark as could be. The bank smelled of cleaning products surrounded by the stench of the inner city where they all grew up. The air was cold and crisp. The brightly lit bank was occpied by one teller amongst all the machines and sat in the waiting area a woman with her child.
The child of the woman in the waiting area grew more and more impatient as time passed. His mother was on the pone speaking very loudly in a unamused tone.
'they won't take the cheque' she paused hearing the response 'I know I've been here for a long time, I need to get him home to bed' another pause from the woman on the phone 'if they don't finish this background check in ten minutes I'm coming home okay?'
