I think I couldn't go down deep into the details how did my days or weeks went by after the incident between us happened. I've cried for many nights, and it seriously got it's toll on me already. I'm tired of being this good girl na lagi nalang pinagtutulungan. I'm friggin' confused kung sino ba talaga ang mali.

Ako ba?

Si Lyndon?

Si Rina?

Ayokong isipin na mali rin si Jan-Jan, ako ang mas mali sa aming dalawa.

The academic year had ended, not that peacefully though.

"Yes, hello?" I asked in a sleepy voice as I got hold of my phone which is comfortably resting on my bedside table, not to mention it's been on flight mode eversince you-know-what, just switched it back to silent mode last night 'cause apparently I'm waiting for my coach or teammate's call. Lagi kasing si mama ang nakakausap ni coach tungkol sa competition.

Van? Hey wake up, I've been calling you like for hours already! My eyes went wide awake as I pulled the phone off my ear. I looked at the number, the first three digits confirmed that she's calling from the country.

Cae?

Is this for real?

"W-where are you?"

Oh heavens! I've been here for almost a week now! I haven't talked to you because I think you switched your phone off. I frowned.

"Y-yeah, I'm quite busy with exams for the past days." I said without choking, so that's how it felt? I just lied to my bestfriend?

Oh, is that so? Anyway I'm enrolled at Miriam college! Y'knerr the one beside Ateneo? I can't help but let out a scoff upon hearing her talk animatedly like that.

She's always the life of the party if you had to put it that way, but apart from that, she's sort of possessive. I remembered when I went to have a lunch out with Mindy, a friend from 7th grade, she walked on our table and asked Mindy never to ask me out again. 'Course I became mad, but Cae insisted that I must not go out with some random friend because I already have her as a bestfriend. I just take it easy after that and even overlooked at how childish she is most of the time.

"Good for you.." I sighed. "..seems you're really happy." Judging from her voice.

You bet! I just saw Lloyd Hiro! Ohmigosh! Remember how he looked when we were young, he's really not tall back then but--

"W-wait what?" I cut through her statement.

Hello? I said I just saw, oh noees, I mean I just talked to Lloyd Hiro! Our bestfriend!

"Hiro?" Akalain mo nga naman, all this friggin' time ay sa akin niya pinapahanap yung lalaking 'yun pero sya pa ang unang nakakita. "How was he?"

He really looked good! And, Van, when I say good I really meant it! Though I don't like his friend, hell, I can't even remember his name. I let out a low laugh, I could imagine that she's rolling her eyes right now.

"So what did you two talked about?"

Uhm, I asked him to tutor me in Filipino which he gladly accepted, isn't he sweet? He even asked for my number! I smiled.

"That's nice to know--"

I shall go for now, Van, mom and I have to attend to something. See you! Love you! Di na niya hinintay na makapagpaalam ako at ibinaba na niya ang phone. Ako naman hinila ko na ang sariling paa paalis sa kama at napatingin sa duffel bag na nasa couch, agad akong napatakbo sa study table, oh shizz.
