Ch.16

The next morning

I slowly start waking up with the biggest headache of my life. I grunt a little and see in not in my room. I turn around and see Chloe next to me sleeping. I look under the blankets and see that we are both naked.

I scream and chloe wakes up immediately. She looks at me and screams

D: DID WE

C: WE DID

I run out of the room naked. I run back to get my underwear and put them on. Then I run back out of the room. I check my room and see joey isn't in there. I run down stairs and see joey passed out on the couch with a white husky laying on him. Fuck he really bought a husky.

I sit next to Joey and start shaking him awake. The puppy jumps off of him and lays on the floor.

Joeys eyes flutter open and chloe runs down the stairs with my shirt on.

Joey sits up immediately and looks at us both.

J: you two didn't?

D: we did...

J: WHAT?!

C: we were drunk... I didn't even know what happened last night

D: you know I get horny when I'm drunk... I can't contain myself

J: you're GAY!

D: I know I don't know what has gotten into me

C: Daniel... we didn't use protection.

J: wait what?

C: I looked around the room and in the trash can and I didn't find a condom

D: so you could be..?

C: there is a possibility yes

J: FUCK! The only reason why I'm not mad is because what happened between me and Liza... also we were drunk and I got a fucking puppy... speaking of puppies where is wolf?

D: with my aunt Elena... that's besides the point... we are going to have 3 adults and 2 children in this house.

J: we have enough room... and she may not even be...

C: if I'm late... I'll get a test and only time will tell... damn the first time I'm having sex, I lost my virginity to a 24 year old and got pregnant... just my luck

D: sorry...

C: I don't even remember anything, fuck I really screwed myself over this time...

J: chloe it's going to be ok... we are here for you, even if it isn't mine you and Daniel have been here for Emma... but once again there is a small chance she isn't...

D: im going to make breakfast... someone go get Emma up and ready

Joey nods his head and walks up stairs. Chloe walks over to the puppy and picks it up. I look at the counter and see a bag of puppy food. I hand it to her and she gets out a small bowl to feed it.

I open the fridge and get out the eggs, bacon, and the bread off of the counter.

I tap my foot quickly while scrambling the eggs. Chloe puts her hand on my shoulder and sighs.

C: Daniel its ok

D: im not ready to be a father

C: you treat Emma like she is yours... so you can treat like ours is yours.

D: but here is the thing

C: what?

D: I'm afraid that you're going to die like Liza did with Joey...

C: oh Daniel I'm going to be ok... plus like Joey said I might not even be pregnant, I should be starting in a few days so if I don't I'll take a test like I said...

D: ok...

Joey comes down stairs with sleepy Emma on his waist. He sets her in the couch and opens the fridge. He gets out a silly cup full of orange juice and walks back over to her handing it to her.

J: we are going to be ok

D: I know we are

I let it a sigh as I pour the eggs on the hot pan... are we going to be ok?
