Chapter 9

After the date I asked him to drop me off home because I wanted to go spend time with my dearest mommy. I think I haven't seen her in Three days or even more and I feel like FaceTime isn't enough which kane didn't have an issue with since of course he was busy.

'when will you come back?" Kane ask as he starts the car

"well idk I just want to go home and spend time with my mom and dad, which I know I do see them sometimes but its not like how it used to be I mean I did live with them and saw them almost everyday"

"yea princess I get that but I'm gonna miss you."

"I think you will be fine for a couple of days away from me"

"okay actually how bout this" he says while stopping at a red light

"you go to your parents for a week or two and when you come back we go on our vacation"

"that sounds great but one or two weeks away from you? ughhhhhh"

"princess you will be fine as much as I will miss you plus this will give me time to get my business done I have a lot I'm dealing with right now" he says while making a right turn

"well do you wanna talk about it "

"princess I don't like talking you know this. talking isn't my style I like to actually take my anger out   " he says while gripping the wheel

"what do you mean by that?" I ask

"you mean by killing or hurting people don't you" I ask but he never replies he just continues driving "Kane that isn't okay for you to do you can't just go around killing or beating up people "

"not just people princess these are people who fucked with my shit and baby you have to understand that I take my belongings very serious "

"I know but .."

"no thats its princess you know I don't like speaking about this part of my life with you"

"I know I just want you to know if you need someone to speak to I'm here for you"

"didn't you just hear me I just said I don't like speaking about my problems, what you don't fucking listen"

"hey! don't talk to me like that. okay ! don't I'm not your freaking enemies so fucking watch it "

"well stop asking me questions about my business life I don't want to mix you in with it. so please sit the fuck back and just shut the fuck up"

I stared at him in disbelief and just sat quiet I know exactly how he gets when he's mad

and for the next two seconds I just didn't say anything and when he pulled up to my house I didn't really want to say anything to him either so I kindly stepped out of his car but he grabbed my arm

"nina im just really stressed please don't be mad at me "

I just looked back at him and said "thank you for tonight but id like to go up to room and sleep now "

"well can you call me before you go to sleep I want to hear your voice"

I tried getting out of the car

"princess dont forget to call me we don't want a repeat of last time now do we"

"you would really put your hands on me again all because I don't answer you call? your fucking sick"

"I just need to know your okay. just don't forget to call me okay? give me a kiss"

"hell no I just said I wanna go to my room"

he stared at me with a mean glare and I hope nothing would happen because he hasn't hit me in a while and right now this look he's giving me isn't good at all

so I leaned back into the car and over to him and kissed him on the cheek and moved away but he pulled my chin back down and kissed me but I didnt kiss back

"next time don't let me ask again just do it"

"okay "I say nodding as I got out and he winked at me and blew me a kiss face as I walked up to my house and unlocked my door

I walked into my home and found my mom in the kitchen

"mommmmmm! omg I missed you what you making it smells good"

"hi honey and your dad wants rice and chicken with apple pie for later, want some?"

"no I just came from a date I ate with Kane"

"oh okay well how long are you gonna hang with us ?"

"a week or two then Kane says he wants to take me on vacation"

"really?" my mom asked with a surprised face

"yea "

"oh baby thats great he's so nice with you I think he really cares for you"

little did my mom know that he does what he does to me or 'did'

"yea but he is in the mafia mommmy"

"I know baby and that is why you must be careful don't get mixed up with his problems "

"yea I know but I think I'm just gonna go upstairs and sleep. you have work tomorrow ?"

"yes did you wanna come down and bake with me ?"

"no maybe another time " I say taking off my heels and heading upstairs I pass my mom and dads room "hey daddy"

"hi sweetheart  where have you been "

"with my boyfriend daddy I've missed you so much "

"I missed you too even miss seeing Emily around here she is like a second daughter to me "

"yea daddy she's fine I'm gonna go change and go to bed now"

"okay sweetie goodnight "

"night dad"

it felt so great to put my night wear on and lay in my bed I haven't been home in a couple of days 

I spent a hour watching riverdale on Netflix and then got a little tired I remembered that I had to call Kane so I did because I getting tired

I got up and went back downstairs and made some coffee as I dialed Kane

"hello"

and  I took a breath before I answered

"hi  Kane"

and I sat on my bed sipping my coffee
