BEEP! BEEP!

"Ugh. Who would be texting me this early in the morning." Will said. I looked over to his clock to see what time it was. It was nine O'clock exactly. I grabbed his phone to see who it was.

It was Liz Harvey, one of my best friends.

Liz: The gang decided to go on a camping trip at Ray Mountain! Are you going to come? It will be just the gang, no parents to boss us around.

Will: That sounds like a nice way to spend spring break. Count me in! But did you have to wake me up so early in the morning to ask me though?

Liz: It's nine in the morning!

Will: I know. When we leaving?

Liz: Ugh boys. Tomorrow at six in the morning. We I be taking Jackson Car. TTYL

Will: Ok. Bye.

Of course we are going on a camping trip. Why camping?! Ash probably forced the rest of the gang to go. It will be fun though, I guess. I thought

I then started his morning routine, which included him getting up and making his bed, getting dressed, and doing his personal hygiene. Next, I went downstairs to the kitchen to get his breakfast.

I have a large kitchen. There was a bar on the outer edge that faced the living room. In the middle of the kitchen was an island. The counter tops were a white marble. The walls were lined with wooden cabinets. Siting at the bar was his mom and dad each reading a different section of the newspaper. Laid out on the island were the comics that his parents put out for him because they knew I liked it.

His dad took the papers from out of his face and looked at me. His dad was fifty years old, though his complexion did not show that. He had long bright blonde hair without a single hair of gray; it was combed backwards so that none of his hair was on his forehead. On the sides of his head he had short hair so the top and sides would contrast. His eyes were dark green and whenever you looked in them you seemed to get lost.

"Good morning." Dad said in a cheery mood, "They finely got the ghost!"

The ghost wasn't a real ghost; it was a nickname for the thief that has been going around stealing priceless artifacts from people's homes. At each home I left his calling card which was two eyes with flames in them that I spray painted on one of the walls in the home I robbed.

"That's a relief." I said because the ghost was striking in my neighborhood.

I then started to walk over to the cabinet that held the cereal. I pulled it open and got my favorite cereal, Captain Crunch, and placed it on the island.

"Can I go on a camping trip with the gang? We are going to Ray Mountain. It will be just the gang. No parents." I said while walking over to another cabinet to get a bowl for his cereal.

His mom then took the papers out from her face and took off her reading glasses. She was forty-three. Her hair was black with lots of grey hairs in between. Her eyes were a mixture of grey and blue.

"Sure, honey you can go. When you leaving?" Mom said with a big smile.

"We are leaving tomorrow at six. Jackson is taking us in his car. And mom, please don't call me honey." I said with reassurance.

"Okay Sweet-cheeks" Mom said.

I face palmed myself. By the end of that conversation I was already done fixing his cereal.

Next I grabbed the comics and walked over to the bar. I sat next to my dad and read the comics.

For the rest of his meal we all sat in quiet.

When I finished, I went upstairs and started to pack. I packed everything I needed, a sleeping bag, some food, and some matches. Then I went downstairs and filled up some water bottles with Tang and let them sit in the fridge. I got a cooler and sat it on the countertop by the fridge. I walked outside and got in my car to go get a big bag of ice for the cooler. That would finish my packing.

I drove a mile to JD's Gas Station. I grabbed a bag of ice and walked in and payed for it and drove home.

When I got home I put the ice in the freezer. After that I went upstairs and started get on my phone. When I went to click the texting icon I accidently clicked the camera icon. The camera pulled up. Staring back at me was a 17 year old boy. He had bright blonde hair that was long on the top and short on the sides, just like his dad. His hair was combed over so that it sat on the left side of his head. The boy had blue-green eyes; they were a mixture of his mom's and dad's eyes. The boy staring back at him was Will Pitt, himself. I got off of the camera and got onto texting. Then I realized that I didn't know who I would text. I pondered this for a moment. I was terrible at making decisions though so I decided that I wouldn't text anybody. I decided that I would go play video games.

I played for a couple of hours and then decided that I should get some rest because I needed to wake up early.

By the time I finally finished getting ready for bed it was eight O'clock. I went to bed thinking about how much fun I and the gang would have. I would soon figure out that his thoughts about going on the camping trip would change drastically.
