❝the nameless bird that sings
in the park at dawn,
where are you,
oh you.❞

-

As Taehyung dragged his feet lazily to his next class, his mind drifted to her.

Her voice.

Once again, Taehyung feels a pang of pain in his heart.

Oh how he dearly misses her, and everything about her.

Her voice as angelic as her face.

Her touch as gentle as feathers.

And how she left like the wind.

It all came running back to him.

His memories about her, the kisses that they used to share, the songs they have sang.

Everything.

Slowly but continuously, Taehyung's tears fell without notice, and soon enough, he was already crying as he reached the front door to his next class.

Looking at it with his blurred vision, he shook his head and decided to skip it instead.

He ran away, not knowing where he's going, letting his feet bring him to wherever.

At last, he stopped.

Right at the park where he met her.

Right where everything happened.

Right where he had fallen in love with her.

Right when he had found out that she sings here every dawn.

He sat at the bench, trembling as he sobbed silently.

The pain was too much.

The pain was suffocating him.

And so, once he had stopped crying, he took out his notebook and pen yet again and with trembling hands, wrote:

Lee Hyun Ji,

Where are you, my love?

Oh the pain you have left me.

When can I meet you again?

Hoping that day comes,
Kim Taehyung
