Author's Note

Hello!

This is my first time actually writting an author's note, mostly because many people won't read it - I know I usually don't.

So, hum... What am I supposed to say here?

The idea for this story came from the bugging thought I had in my head for weeks of what it would be like to hear life from the perspective of a "side character". This is mostly because at one point in our life, we all have felt like this and also because I'm tired of the generic perfect, cute heroines we see everyday. Clumsy but know how to fight well and use weapons, average looking but everyone falls for them at first sight, and don't get me started on neglecting parents that push their kids to ridiculous situations or just let them do everything - I mean, how many times you wanted to go out and you're parents said no?

Okay, ranting is over and I have to admit it's not always like that. It's nice to see we have a growing number of strong female characters (meaning well-written, not necessarily strong), that have realistic flaws, insecurities, just like us.

And I can't say I'm not guilty of reading one or two sapping novels.

Then, I'll do my best writting this and I hope that you (anyone, please?) like it (and give me feedback, okay? I really want to improve).
