(Connor's POV)

I woke up struggling to breathe and I could hear the blood rushing through my ears. My ginger hair was slicked to my forehead, soaked in my own sweat.

I rolled over on my side and pulled my knees up to my chest. Elder Thomas wasn't in his bed, I hated him seeing me like this anyway so I was a bit relieved to be on my own.

I heard the door open and footsteps walking inside, "Elder McKinley?" The figure sat on the edge of my bed, "Are you alright?"

I slowly sat up and saw him, his perfect brown hair and gorgeous eyes, Elder Price. Great. The last thing I need is for Elder Price to see me like this. I was a complete and utter disaster. Both my undergarments and my hair where soaked in sweat.

Elder Price made me look even worse in comparison to him with his perfectly styled hair and his clean, perfect uniform.

Elder Price waved his hand in front of my face, "Elder McKinley?"

I snapped out of my trance and pushed my wet hair back, off of my forehead, "Elder Price. I'm uh.. sorry you have to see me like this. You really don't have to stay."

"Of course I have to stay, clearly there's something wrong. None of us could wake you up, we've been trying all day. We we're all worried sick about you."

"Really, I'm fine. I just had a bad dream is all," I lied straight to his face.

"You're lying," Elder Price stated flatly.

"What?"

"I said, you're lying," he insisted.

"How could you possibly know that?"

"You keep fidgeting your hands when you talk and you haven't looked me in the eye since I walked in here. So I think it's safe to say that you're lying to me."

"So what if I am!" I yelled in defense, "Why do you care?!" Elder Price looked a bit shocked that I was yelling and my heart sank, "I'm sorry," I looked away from Elder Price, "I didn't mean to yell."

"You don't need to apologize," Elder Price placed his hand comfortingly on my shoulder, "Listen, Elder, I understand if you don't want to talk right now.. but I want you to know that we're all here for you anytime. I am here for you."

I looked back at Elder Price and found myself gazing into his brown eyes. His hand was still resting on my shoulder, "Thanks Elder," part of my wanted to tell him everything, to confide in him and finally let all my feelings out. But I didn't want to ruin this moment, "that means a lot."

"Alright well it's getting really close to curfew so I should get going. Knowing Elder Cunningham he'll probably have a meltdown if I'm not there."

"Oh.. yea of course. Thanks for talking to me."

"No problem, anytime," Elder Price smiled and I swear his teeth literally sparkled, "Goodnight Elder."

"Goodnight." I lov- no.. turn it off McKinley... turn it off.
