Time to Part Ways

Although that didn't mean I was ready for it to end. Maybe that's why the day was so hard.

"I can't believe today is the end." Nana whines as she shoves her belongings into a box.

I'd only told Sunny and Nana about my new relationship, given they were there through the most of it, they kinda deserve to know.

"I know right," I sigh, tucking my own things away into a bag, "It feels like just yesterday I was waiting by a curb having sis yelled at me while I tried to drink my coffee by my senior."

"Ah yeah! H.E.I.R Maknae! What up sis!" Joon Hyung says happily, and loudly. meanwhile Jackson smiles.

"I've seen you in the lobby of the JYP building before." Jackson says to me, and I nod with a gulp.

I can't help remembering once more how I B-lined away from Mark. I hope he watches the episode so he can see my apology during my interview.

The girls in front of me laugh along to my words, each thinking back to their own time on the show.

"And our late night meals..." Guk Joo smiles nostalgically.

"We're like a family." Guk Joo begins.

"Mother," She points to herself.

"Father," She points to Joon Hyung.

"Son," She points to Jackson.

"And Daughter-in-Law." She finally points to me.

"Why am I an in-law, and who am I married to?" I complain.

"You're married to Jackson because you fight like a married couple. Continue the JYP family!" Joon Hyung explains, throwing out a peace sign to the camera.

"That's so weird." Jackson and I say at the same time.

"I remember when we went out and had the picnic, and Nari and Jackson practically had a acrobatics-off." Youngji chuckles.

"Just jump and then bring everything in." Jackson explains vaguely.

"You make it sound so confusing." I say to the 'instructor'.

"Then you come do it." Jackson cockily states.

Happily I oblige. It seems he had forgotten the backflip I did on day one. Easily, I jump into a backflip. Once I land it, I haughtily walk up to Jackson and take his hat off, placing it on my head instead.

"Ooooohhhhhhh." The others murmur.

Jackson just laughs before tickling me to get his hat back. Foul play, might I just add.

I smile fondly at the memories.

"Guys," Jackson pops his head into the room, throwing me a cute smile before continuing, "We have to go film."

The girls and I stand, collecting the final few things before exiting the bedroom for the last time. A small smile graces my features as I close the door to the room and head downstairs.

We didn't do much in the last episode, it was mostly everyone being themselves, which translates to be being weird. Basically just goofing off as per usual, until the one on one interviews.

"Hello everyone." I greet the camera as I'm seated in an empty room of the house.

"Please tell everyone that has been following Roommates a final message." The director instructs me.

"Ah," I nod, "I think I'd like to thank everyone who has watched this show during our season, the feedback has been amazing and I'm so thankful for all of you.

"Through this show I was able to meet new people and make many new friends..." I trail off, taking a deep breath.

"While I was here I got to have many fun experiences that I wouldn't have been able to have otherwise. Most of you know it hasn't been an easy year for me...but whenever I was down this show, the cast, and the people watching were always such a huge source of happiness for me. For that I thank you all. I guess this is it. One last time, I'm Do Nari of H.E.I.R, thank you for everything."

Everyone did their own solo interviews, and we all met in the living room for the official goodbye from everyone.

"Thank you everyone for supporting this show for both of its seasons." Se Ho speaks for everyone, "we'll all cherish our memories."

"Thanks for watching, this has been Roommates!" Everyone cheers at once, before the cameras cut for the last time.

No one was really emotional per say, but you could tell everyone was sad to be leaving, not only each other but also the house and all the time we can't really spend together anymore.

"Probably like, not the time." My voice cuts through the room, interrupting everyone hugging each other. "But I'm 100% down to keep Cucumber."

It was a joke to lighten up the mood, but apparently they thought I was serious so now I have a dog. Um that'll be hard to explain to the girls.

The atmosphere became happier, all of us hugging and bidding each other temporary goodbyes. Pretty much everyone promised to stay in touch, which was a bright side to everything, though it was still obvious some of us would eventually drift apart and stop talking.

Soon enough one by one everyone left the Share House, giving it one last glance before their departure. Jackson and I remained there, waiting for my manager to pick the two of us up. Only the production crew were still on site, having to uninstall the cameras around the house.

"You know it's weird." Jackson cuts the the silence, swinging our hands together in thought.

"What is?" I question the male idol.

"Before this show you and I knew of each other and didn't actually know each other. It's funny how after a few months we became close friends and somehow you managed to fall for me." he grins over at me.

"Yes, my irresistible beauty seems to have had a great effect on you."

"I was trying to compliment you, someone has their confidence back." He gave a disbelieving laugh, to which I smiled.

"I know, thank you. I also think it's weird how it all happened, but I think everything just fell in place how it was supposed to."

The black van belonging to my manager pulls up, and Jackson opens the door for me, "Ready to go Nari?"

I throw one last look at the Share House behind me before I turn back to my boyfriend, taking his hand.

"Yeah, let's go."
