Chapter 2: "The Boss"

☆Katelyn's POV☆

As soon as I woke up I had texts from both my mom and brother. Both wondering where I am and what I'm doing. But my brother is the only one that actually cares.

I just replied to both of them with "I'm at Maddie's house" and then I just shut off my screen. I saw that Maddie wasn't awake so I decided to wake her up.

I headed to the bathroom and grabbed a bucket, which she randomly hand in her room, and I filled it with water. Once it was filled to the brim I then tiptoed all the way back to the bed to her side and I dumbed it on her.

"WHAT THE HELL KATELYN?!?" She yelled as she jumped out of her wet bed.

"Ooh would you look at that you're all wet," I said with a smirk.

"Shut the fuck up Katelyn." She said rolling her eyes and I started to laugh at her face.

When I smelt food I walked out of her bedroom all the way to the kitchen to see Mama Andrews cooking.

"Good morning sweetie how was your sleep?" She asked me.

"It was pretty good, how was your's?" I asked her and she smiled.

"It was alright.. are you hungry? Cause I'm making some pancakes.." She said and when she said the word pancakes she had my mouth watering cause her pancakes are the best and I love them so much.

"Mom! Katelyn dumbed water on me!" Maddie said as she walked into the room in her robe..

"Oh Maddie.. it's because you are a deep sleeper.. and you sleep in to much.." Mrs. Andrews said to her daughter and I smiled.

"Duh cause it's summer time duuh," Maddie said in a sarcastic tone.

"Don't give me an attitude young lady," Her mother said with a stern tone.

"Yea yea yea.." She said walking to where I was then she pushed me off of the chair I was sitting at and stole that seat.

"Really? You really had to do that? With all these chairs around this table?" I asked her as I got up off the floor.

"You're the one who had to wake me up in the most annoying way possible.." She said rolling her eyes.

As soon as we were done eating our food we went upstairs to get dressed

I chose to wear a white shirt with a black pocket,  black shorts, black converse, a black beanie that says wild, my black fake glasses, and a black and white small bag.

As you can tell I love the color black.

Then Maddie chose a black crop top, levi's shorts, black shoes, a black hat, and of course her phone with a clear case..

I don't know why she has a clear case.. they get dirty easily and you would have to clean it after a while.. thats too much work for me.. I just have a classic black case on my phone.

"Hey you wanna go to the mall?" Maddie asked me.

"Yea.. let's go" I said grabbing my phone and walking out of the room.

Once we headed out of the house into the car Maddie drove us all the way to the mall which was packed.. which I understand why because it was Friday. But thankfully we found parking.

As we headed into the mall we went to our favorite store Sephora. Since we needed makeup to impress ourselves cause who has time to impress boys they just have their brain in their pants.

After a few hours of shopping (jk.. only 2) we went over to the food court  and I looked at my phone and it said 12:15pm. IT'S FOOD TIME ONCE AGAINNN.

I got Subway and Maddie got Panda Express.

"So have you met any cute boys yet?" I asked Maddie.. I'm not ashamed to say but I would totally go for her if I swung that way cause damnnnn she's hottt.

"Yea.. There's this one guy.. he's name is Jack.." She said blushing.

"Awww look at my little girl blushhh" I say as her blush deepens and she hits me with a wad of napkins.

"Shut up. People are looking." She said and I just rolled my eyes.

After we finished our lunch we left the mall and suddenly the car started to act up once we were on the road near the middle of nowhere.. like really?!? Couldn't it have waited till we were home but nooooo it has to be like that now.

"Great. Just great. We need gas." She said..

"Ughhhh.. why didn't you just get it when we were near the mall?" I asked her signing..

"Well I didn't know.. geez.." She said rolling her eyes..

(A/n yes I know she rolls her eyes a lot but so do I 😂)

Suddenly a black van pulled up right behind us and a man in a nice black suit walked up to our car..

"Do you ladies need help?" The man asked us..

"Uh.. yea.. we're out of gas.." Maddie said nervously..

"Well why don't I take you two to where you were heading.. wait.. Ma'am are you the girl that the boss was talking about..?" He said looking at me..

Boss? What..? Who the hell is the boss? I don't know who that is and why was he talking about me..

"Uh.. I don't know what you're talking about.. or who the boss is.." I said.

"The Boss is Blake Parks.. didn't you meet him at a club?" He asked me.. I was shook because Blake was the boss.. I wonder what he's the boss of..

"Boss I found her.." he said into a walkie talkie.. and I heard a muffled "bring her too me"

What the hell? Why would I go with a man I don't know.. to another man I don't even know... like what the hell?

Then suddenly the man grabbed me out of the car and put me into the black van and then grabbed Maddie.. I guess he didn't want a witness or something out loose.. to tell the police or something.. then he pulled back onto the road and drove off

Great I get to see the guy who I  bumbed into and he could certainly be a serial killer and he could kill both me and Maddie...
