First day

Lauren's POV
Today's the day
I was actually leaving
I already made a video explaining how I have to take a break and youtube will be a summer thing and I would vlog periodically
I put the last of my luggage into my car and went back inside to see everyone in the kitchen
"I'm gonna miss you guys" I sighed and I felt a tear roll down my cheek
Chance was there right away to wipe it away and kiss my forehead
"We'll miss you but until softball season, you're visiting every weekend and I'll visit you a couple days a week, ok" Chance reassured me
"Ok" I sniffled and started crying in his arms as he rubbed my back
I was wearing a semi cute outfit, but I felt worse than I looked

I kissed Chance and went back to eating my food even though I was dying inside
"When are you leaving" Tessa asked
I looked at my phone and sighed
"An hour, I start class tomorrow and I have to finish my dorm"
"It's ok, I'll visit with Chanthony" Tessa said and hugged me
"Thanks T" I sadly smiled

And before I knew it, the hour passed
I turned off the reminder, sighed, and got up hugging everyone
"I love you all" I smiled sadly
Chance walked me to my car then
"You'll facetime me everynight" I asked
"Of course" he smiled
I looked down and just hugged him really tight
"You'll see me soon baby girl, I'm visiting this week" Chance said lifting my chin up and kissing me
"I love you" I hiccuped
"I love you too" he said swallowing hard and I knew he was going to cry. And he never cries
I grabbed my keys, went in my car, started it, and I was off to college
"Guys, I know that that last part was sad but, goodbyes are never happy. Especially when it's your 2nd family" I sighed and drove to Dunkin' Donuts to get their cookie dough iced coffee (dk if it's still there but roll with it)
And after 45 minutes, I arrived
After orientation, I felt more comfortable cause I knew people and I got to know my team and roomate
"Name" the lady asked at the front desk
"Lauren Kennedy" I said
She handed me my ID and I grabbed my Pink lanyard out of my bag to put it in
I walked in my dorm room kinda sad so I texted Chance
Me-all good, just got to my dorm

He just likes to make sure I'm safe
"Hey Laur" Emily smiled
"Hey Em" I sighed
"Tell me, what's got ya down" she asked sitting beside me
"Just saying goodbye, it's the hardest thing ever" I explained getting up and finishing my half of the room

"See it really helps when both of us love tumblr" I joked
"Oh you got that right" Em laughed "who was the hardest to say goodbye to"
"My boyfriend" I said thinking about Chance
"Ooh can I see him" she asked and I laughed nodding showing her a picture
"Damn girl, you did well. Will he visit" she asked very hopeful
"Yeah, the house is only 45 minutes from here" I explained
"Oohhh, I take it you will also be visiting him" Em smirked
"Yeah I will" I blushed
"Wanna go get food, I'm starving" she asked
"Duh, your car or mine" I asked
"Yours, I flew here" she said
"Oh really, where are you from" I asked as we walked out our dorm
"Ohio" she said "you're from here right"
"No *starts smiling*. I live in Cali with my friends cause I'm a youtuber, truth is, I'm from Ohio" I said
"Omg we're becoming best friends" Em squealed and we got in my car
"What do you want to eat" I asked
We looked at each other
"Chipotle" we chorused
We got to Chipotle and I got my norm

"So guys I arrived at Chipotle with Emily, who is my dormate and teamate" I said to my camera showing Emily
"Hi" she waved
"So I'm feeling pretty nostalgic right now cause this is the exact meal and drink I got on my first date with Chance" I blushed
"Chipotle, how romantic" Emily joked
"No he knows I'm not into fancy shit so for our first daye we went ice skating and then to Chipotle" I explained taking a sip of my raspberry tea
"Now we are headed back to our dorm room to unpack and we start classes together" I explained
"The best part is, is that we have the same classes" she exclaimed
"Yasss" I said and started unpacking when we walked in the door
And on cue, Chance was facetiming me
"Hey Chance" I smiled answering his call
"Hi babe" he smiled back
"How's everything at the house" I asked
"We still miss you but other than that, same old, same old" he explained
"Lit" I asked giggling
"Yes cause it's everyday bro" he joked
"Yeah. I love it here honestly, the people are amazing, there's a Chipotle 5 minutes from here lofe is good" I explained
"I was wondering how long it would take you to get Chipotle" Chance laughed
"Ooh is that Chance I hear" Emily asked brushing her hair
"Yes" I blushed
"Hi I'm Emily. I'm her teamate and dormate" she introduced herself
"Hi Emily" he smiled
"She's from Ohio just like us" I said saying Ohio like the boys
"Even better" he smirked "go to bed, it's almost 11:30"
"You're not my dad" I chuckled
"I know but you, are not a morning person. Em, I'm looking out for you on this one" Chance explained
"Is she really that bad" Em asked
"Oh yeah" Chance said
"Fuck off" I laughed
"K. Love you angel" he smiled and I heard Emily aw
"Love you too babe" I sighed and ended the call
"I approve. So you've been dating for almost a year" she asked
"Yeah, best almost year of my life" I blushed and went to sleep
"Wake up bitch" Emily joked hitting me with a pillow
"Yoo calm down" I laughed grabbing the pillow and putting it back on my bed
"Get dressed, we're going for breakfast downstairs as well" she said
"K" I said changing into a casual yet presentable outfit

First class was AP Physiology so that'll be fun
"Welcome class...." and boring teacher talks

*after classes cause I'm lazy*
I got back in my dorm and I saw a Starbucks just sitting there with a note
Just cause I thought you might want it. Saw you had classes but figured I'd stop by anyhow. Love you❤️
