I hurt... my everything hurt... Never in my life, even in training did I take a beating like that. It's understandable I guess, apparently I am a danger to humanity.. This isn't what I wanted... all I wanted was to exterminate the titans that destroyed our lands and killed our people, the beasts the forced humanity into a cage, all I wanted was to see the outside world without fear... but here I am... in a trial against my own kind, an horrible monster whom everyone feared, a beast the Military Police want to eliminate, a creature whose origin is still unknown and shunned for, according to everyone I shouldn't even be alive...

My name is Eri. Eri Ackerman, daughter of Levi Ackerman and Eren Jaeger, you've probably heard of them, word gets around quick in the walls. I... how do I explain this... I'm not normal, I wasn't born like a normal human being. Proof enough is that I have two fathers and no mother, humanity's strongest solider and humanity's hope. It's somewhat a miracle I exist... "The perfect combination of mankind's best warriors." Well at least that's what Hanji says, but I've always wondered...

If I'm such a "perfect child" in the eyes of the Scouting Regiment.... Why does the rest of the world despise my existence..?

There you have it, a teaser for my book in the making, I already made a few other chapters but I'd like to know what you think, I've been thinking on this idea for a while so I'm really excited to start writing it :)

This story very loosely follows the actual plot of Attack on Titan, it will trail off in its own direction as it progresses though. I willllll be taking some creative liberties with some of the rules about titans and Titan shifters, oh and also just so we're clear, Eren and the others his age are 18 rather than 16 when the story starts off. Just needed to get all that all out there, hope you enjoy!
