prologue

I woke up because of my buzzing alarm, forcing me to open my eyes drowsily.

I quickly moved my feet to the toilet, and washed my face.

Last night was tiring, and really thrilling. I got to watch many idols perform in the M-Countdown while helping my father's work. He's a manager, and he's free at the moment since the recent idol's contract has ended with the company. So he's helping his boss as there for a while.

My phone rung and I grabbed it in almost an instant.

"Hello?" I greeted.

"(yn)."

It's Father, and it's pretty rare he called early.

"Yes, Appa?"

"Can you come to the office now? I really need to talk to you about something."

I gulped. Will it be a bad news?

"Okay. I'll be there in 20." I answered, and the line went dead.

I prepared myself, and dressed carefully to look really presentable in a professional way. I took my belongings and made my way to the office.

As I parked my car, I saw a large van coming and dropped a bunch of guys from afar. I couldn't really recognize them, but they didn't look like just ordinary guys. I could tell it from their postures and fashion.

I quickly scampered to the building, and took the stairs since the lift is packed with people.

When I arrive at Father's room, I opened the door to reveal a bunch of boys seating down. They really all look handsome and dazzling, and I finally realized that it's freaking the Wanna-One boys.

I only stared at them in shock and awe. I mean, I didn't expect seeing them out of anyone this early morning though I'm used seeing idols here.

Daniel, Jihoon, Seungwoo, Guanlin, Jinyoung-. Okay, I should stop staring at them.

They gave me an unapproving look and I quickly bowed down and greet them in embarrassment.

"Annyeonghaseo."

They all stood up also and bowed at me back, and took their seats again. I hurriedly went to Father and stood beside his seat.

"I'm going to start since you all have gathered here. Welcome to my office, and I hope you had a great time here. Just call me Mr. Kim." Father started and smiled at them.

"I will be your manager for a year, and I hope we could get along well, not just professionally but also personally. I would think of you and treat you all like my sons." He said, and it made them look happy.

I think they're lucky since Father is a really great person. Though he's really discipline, but he makes sure the idols he managed is happy and not stressing over things too much. He also cares for them so much.

Jisung then clapped his signature clap and the others followed him while laughing together. I kinda like the atmosphere they had already.

"Any questions?"

Seung Woo raised his hand immediately, and Father motioned him to ask.

"Can you introduce us the girl beside you?" He grinned widely, and the boys made the "whoo" sound.

"Oh my! I'm sorry, I almost forgot my very own daughter." Father said as he face palmed himself, and I smiled at them.
