Silencer on, her target stepped into the light, she squinted her eyes, aimed and fired. His body crumpled to the ground like a ragdoll as a halo of red spread around the bullet's entry.

She checked her target's pulse. Nothing. Just as she'd assumed, but you could never take any risks; especially with the British. She rummaged through her victim's clothes and found a photograph of her. She cocked her head to the side. Realisation hit her. MI5 had a photo of her. She was a target. She, Aloysia Kaiser, was a target. She looked closer at the photo letting the new information sink in. She barely heard the steady fast breathing or the unsheathing of a gun.

Suddenly, all went dark.
