Magic!(Aquamarine x Peridot human au)

Chapter I:Just a normal day.

*Aquamarine's POV*
To think I'd start my day at that wreched Crystal High,Homeworld High had class,though I was sent here to beat Rose Quartz and Gray Lazulite's track records. Not that it matters.' I'm thought,not really expecting much attention, but the one thing that sickens me about this school is its unmonitored romance. My older step sister Topaz was accompanying me,she was technically a Siamese twin,but her other sister was cut free,and she grew on her own.

Though I never roamed far from Homeworld High,this was something entirely different. I actually have to attend this ragtag highschool just to beat a record,even though I respect Principals Yellow Diamond and Blue Diamond, I often don't want to do half the things they expect me to. Then I saw her,clear as day student 5XG,aka,Peridot Brown. Ever since her parents pulled her out of Homeworld high,its been a nightmare for me to just call Peridot,it was another thing to actually meet up with her. She was talking to someone familiar,though I couldn't tell who,his voice was a very penetrative,yet soft and light tone. I sigh and head to talk with her,my legs already turning to jelly,as I could barely stand straight up unlike normal. When I made it to her,I got a clear view of the male,it was Gray,I would recognize him out of the blue,as he was the only student with silver hair. Back in his Homeworld High days,he was the best athlete anyone had ever seen,having a running record of 12.8 miles in under an hour. We were definitely rivals in just about every subject, and do the students blame us? Nope,not one bit,Gray was the Saluditorion in class, as we were always fighting for Valedictorian. "oh! Hey Aquamarine!" Gray said,his voice still cutting through the crowd's chatter like a hot knife through butter. "Hello Gray,I guess we'll be rivals again huh?" I chuckle,"Guess so." Gray said,shrugging. "How's my big brother Quartz doing?" He asked,

"He,so far anyway,is the best Valedictorian I've seen." I said. I was impressed by the Older Brother's persistence,and it has paid out. Peridot barely gave me a first glance before tackling me in a hug, "Aqua!!! Its been so long!!" She squeals excitedly,Gray chuckles, "So I presume you two knew each other?" He asked,

"Well duh! We went the same school pea for brains!" Peridot laughs

Gray huffs, I had to admit,sometimes Gray had a pea for a brain sometimes. Though I don't really care,it didn't matter really,we were rivals,so I had to withhold my joy of seeing two former Homeworld high students. Gray went to class,as did me and Peridot,and as usual,I was paired with Gray. But he wasn't as competitive as he used to be,but I know Gray is going to be forever young,dispite this Guy's age.
