A few hours later

"Daniel are you ready?!" I scream from up stairs.

D: yeah baby I'm good... Chloe is here so we can leave...

I walk down stairs and see Emma on the couch with juice watching SpongeBob.

Me and Daniel are going out to dinner tonight. He said it would get my mind off of everything I highly doubt it though...

At the restaurant

D: reservation for Preda?

X: right this way...

J: Daniel you didn't have to do this...

D: I didn't have to but I wanted to...

I hold Daniels hand as the waiter takes us to the candle lit table. Daniel pulls out my chair and I sit down. He pushes it in for me and sits down. Damn he is still a gentleman.

We order what we want to drink and eat. Daniel stairs at me and smirks.

J: what?

D: just thought about what he did last night...

J: oh my god Daniel!

D: you don't have a gag reflex I never knew that!

J: Daniel!

D: you're amazing you know that?

J: you know what else is amazing? My ass how about you talk to that.

D: I think I already did something with my mouth to that Joey...

J: Daniel!

I hold Daniels hand above the table and I hear a scream coming from across the restaurant. I turn around and see a guy running towards me with his fists out. He stops in front of me and swings at me. I duck and he misses. The random dude tackles me to the ground and tries to punch me again. I move out of the way and he misses again. He punches me in the stomach and I feel a pit of range come into me because it was David...

I scream as loud as I could and stand up. I drag him out of the restaurant by his collar and he is kicking the whole way. I throw him in the parking lot and he stands up.

J: what the fuck is wrong with you David?!

Dd: you killed Liza that's what you did fucker!

J: I didn't fucking kill her!

I ball up my fists and tears run down my face. I scream and tackle him. I punch him repeatedly in the face and he goes numb. After about 3 minutes of punching Daniel pulls me off and hugs me. I see a crowd of people with their phones out recording us... what's new? Daniel picks me up and carries me to the car.

J: it's my fault...

D: baby it isn't your fault... David can burn in hell for all I care ok? He is just jealous that you had sex with Liza and he never had to. Liza was in love with you and she didn't love David. Everything you have he is jealous. He just wants to bring out down because you are a big success. Also who couldn't love you Joey. I love you... even when you broke my heart 4-5 years ago.... I never forgot about you. We were both 18 joey... he didn't know any better. Fuck we are like 23 and we still don't know what we are doing. We are young... you didn't kill Liza... It was nature. Did you stab her?

J: no...

D: did you do anything to her that would kill her?

J: no...

D: then how did you kill her? It was a dare and nature took its course and boom... baby. If you think about it honey... you're the luckiest man in the world... Emma is the best kid I've ever met... she is so sweet, loving, dorky, cute, and the most bubbly person you will ever meet.... who does that remind you of?

J: Liza...

D: well even if Liza is gone you have the next best thing... I kid who looks up to you for guidance. Joey me and you are going to raise that kid right and make her a success. You never know... she may even look like Liza

J: she has blue eyes...

D: that too! Have you ever seen a light skinned 4 year old that had blue eyes? I haven't... she is the most beautiful kid ever. As soon as I saw her in that hospital I fell in love. I was happy to raise her... I wasn't there for the first 4 years of her life but I'm here now...

J: I am happy you're here now. I don't know what I would do with out you... the almost 5 years we were apart were a living hell. The only thing that kept me happy was Emma... I guess Samantha was just there for company... but you are here for good right?

D: I will always be here joey... I love you and I will always love you...

J: forever and always?

D: forever and always...

Daniel pulls into our driveway and turns off the car. We walk to the door and hear my song playing. I pull my phone out and hit the record button. We open the door quietly. Chloe and Emma are dancing very awkwardly. I laugh a little bit and the turn towards us. Emma falls onto the couch and laughs.

J: you guys are dorks you know what right?

C: when am I not a dork?

I stop the recording and put my phone in my pocket... I have to keep these 3 people close to me... this is what I call happiness....

A/N this chapter is very long :)) anyway I'm having a hard time think of chapter ideas... again this took 2 hours and it sucks ass :) yay
