This can't be happening to me. I don't believe it. It's impossible. Those three sentences were the only thing on my mind as I walked to the block, then suddenly there was a loud noise, similar to a roar. Everything stopped and I thought about running away, but if I did I would die for sure.

They decided to ignore the sound and continue with the executions. I was in front of the block, someone's hand on my back, pushing me down to force me on my knees. I'm terrified by now. I find myself on my knees, head on the block facing the executer, then I spot something flying behind him. Is that? No, it can't be. Another roar, louder than the last one. It landed on a nearby tower. A dragon, it's scales black like the night and the eyes red like lava.

Panic washed over the town, everyone looking for shelter. I heard Ralof telling me to get up and run away, and so I did. We got inside the nearest tower. Ulfric and three more soldiers were inside. I felt so relieved, live gave me another chance.

I was calm but terrified at the same time. There's still the chance I get killed by the dragon, but there's another one of me surviving this. Actually, no. That's no way of thinking right now. I will survive. I will live through this. I will find who I am.

Ralof then calls me, telling to climb the starts and a tentative of escaping. As we are reaching the second floor, the dragon breaks the stone wall with its wing, Ralof and me nearly getting crushed by it. In front of the broken space was a building in flames and without thinking twice, I jumped inside. I was determined to live, the adrenaline and bravery being the only things flowing through my body.

I got out of the flaming building and hid behind a crushed home, if you can call it a home that is. In front of me was the man that had the list with the names. I think his name is Hadvar. He offered to lead me into safety, and although I didn't like the guy, I accepted. He led me to the building where the Imperial chambers were, and Ralof was there.

Both males went to separate doors, and I followed the one that helped me live.
