Prologue - Stalking

We lose ourselves in what we love and in paradox, we find our souls over there

Unknown P.O.V. 

"You must have been born on a highway because that's where accidents happen, "He said as I ticked off the boxes in the vertical column. Quiet but knows when to talk, nice.

Silence washed over the classroom as the teacher looked at the student flabbergasted. 

"Chao Xing, how dare you say that in your English assessment! You are getting a zero, you hear me? Zero. I will phone your Ba today!" She screamed in Mandarin. The dark eyebags under her eyes 

The kids' long straight fringe fell over his forehead in different layers. He looked down as he simply shrugged, waiting for the teacher to call the school bodyguards to escort him to the headmaster's office. With a slow grunt, he rolled his eyes and walked out of the classroom leaving a bunch of kids who looked down, embarrassed by their classmates' behaviour. 

All Chao Xing could think about was the belt his dad would use on him when he finds out he has been disrespectful to Ms Chen. All he could think about is the blackness that would take over him as soon as his dad has finished with him.

He is exactly what we need. A spark of bravery.

 "Albert Einstein, in his theory of, determined that the laws of physics are the same for all non-accelerating observers, and he showed that the within a vacuum is the same no matter the speed at which an observer travels. As a result, he found that space and time were interwoven into a single continuum known as space-time. Events that occur at the same time for one observer could occur at different times for another." She said, sitting up proudly as she looked through her eyelashes at her classmates.

She knew she was too smart for any of them to beat her academically. Her green eyes sparkled with arrogance as the teacher looked impressed and complimented her intelligent mind. As a single child, her parents showered her with gifts and compliments allowing her ego to grow over her head. 

"Well done Luciana, that is an absolutely brilliant answer. Thank you for helping us understand" One of the girls next to her compliment. She rolled her eyes and smirked at the girl as she stared with wide eyes, receiving a first class show of her arrogance. 

Hmm... She is something else compared to what we already have. 

Her brown hair fell down her back in messy waves and her highlighter shone brightly on her skin. The makeup was a natural look but it was still very caked up and she was athletically built as well. 

She is exactly what we need. A spark of intelligence.

Running was all Mateo was good at. He could run to save his life if he ever needed to do so. As he flicked his dark brown hair, you could see the girls swooning in the background and kissing the ground he walked on.

"Hey babes, wanna have a good time?" Her long manicured nails ran across his chest as she stared through her curled eyelashes.

"Nah, I'm alright," he smirked as he walked off, grabbing another girl by her ass as he walked past.

A few moments later, his free arm snaked around another girl's waist as he walked off like a gangster.

His light brown eyes and dark brown hair that was always in a perfect quiff represented his dominant aura that radiated off him.

Most girls fell for his undeniable charm as he scattered off into the world of drugs, prostitution and money but his slyness saved him from being locked behind bars.
