Ashaun quietly walked in the house as midnight hit, "Damn Amari Is going to kill me" he thought to himself . Ashaun walked up the stairs and checked in Royaltys room where she was sleeping peacefully. He placed a soft kiss on her forehead, then walked out of her room and made his way to their room. Walking in, Ashaun took off his clothes and hopped in the shower. After his shower, he slipped on a clean pair of boxers and climbed into bed wrapping his arms around amaris waist.
"Where were you babe"? Amari mumbled
" I was out don't worry I'm fine baby girl".Ashaun kissed her neck, calming her down
" Hmmm ". Was all Amari said
" Come here bubble butt ". Ashaun placed her on top of his lap and started massaging her lower back
" I was out with some friends okay I wasn't out there doing none bad I promise". Ashaun kissed her lips softly, partly telling the truth... ashaun didn't want amari to worry about his whereabouts or his issue....
The next morning 9:59 am
Amari's POV
" Mommy mommy wake it's time to get up". Amari felt the bed move up and down
" Royalty if you don't stop I'll push you off the bed, where's daddy BTW"?
"He's downstairs making breakfast". As soon as Royalty said those words amari quickly got out the bed and ran towards the bathroom and puked in the toilet how amari hates morning sickness
" Ewww mommy are you okay"? Royalty came by my side and lifted up my hair
" I'm okay go get your daddy ". Amari managed to get out
..........
" Ohh shit you okay baby"? Ashaun came in bathroom with a concerned look on his face
" does it look like Im okay"?! Amari snapped
" watch it girl ". Ashaun warned her
" watchyu gone do? Nada". Amari finally got up off the floor and brushed her teeth, while doing that amari looked up at the mirror and saw Ashauns reflection his eyes turned into this dark color and his expression seemed motionless. "I'm probably tripping she thought to herself ..these pregnancy hormones" ...
" Princess I'm sorry ". Ashaun turned me around and kissed my lips this time his eyes went to back to normal but I didn't pay any attention to that
" Its okay this is your first time dealing with this type of stuff". Amari wrapped her arms around his neck and laid her head there for a few seconds
" I made breakfast for you its downstairs". Ashaun let go of amari and walked out of the bathroom
" that was weird "......... Instead of worrying about that, amari did her personal hygiene and walked down the stairs where she saw royalty eating her breakfast and watching peppa pig
" Boooo"! Amari went behind royalty and scared her
"Ahhhh mommy you scared me". Royalty turned around and laughed
"I'm sorry princess mommy loves you finish up your breakfast today's cleaning day". Amari kissed the top of royalty's forehead earning a groan
" awwww cleaning day I hate cleaning day its too much work". Royalty said dramatically
" girl bye you too much for me, hey baby". Amari walked into the kitchen where she saw ashaun typing away on his phone
"....."
" I said hey baby". Amari snatched the phone out of his hand but soon regretted that when he grabbed her wrist roughly putting pressure on it. Amari became teary eyed once she saw his eyes turn into that dark color again
" Ashaun your hurting me ". Tears fell from amaris eyes as she trembled in fear, but Ashaun wouldn't budge instead he let go of her wrist and snatched the phone from her hand and walked away without saying a word. Amari quickly wiped her eyes as royalty came into the kitchen
" mommy I'm finished ". Royalty grinned
" Okay baby put the plate in the sink and go get started". Amaris voice trembled as she managed to get those words out
" Are you okay mommy"? Royalty asked, seeing her mother teary eyed made her worried
" I'm okay baby mommy just doesn't feel good that's all". Amari lied
" I can make you feel better mommy ". Royalty laid her head on Amaris stomach and rubbed it slowly
" Thank you baby your the sweetest mommy will always love you remember that okay"? Amari wrapped her arms around amari and smiled. Even through her worst situation or case, royalty will always keep her sane

After the incident happened between Amari and Ashaun, Amari decided to push that thought in the back of her head and forget about it. Maybe he was going through something or maybe it was work that was stressing him Amari thought. He just wouldn't do that out of nowhere, or would he? Instead of pressing the issue, Amari continued to distract herself by cleaning.
" Baee". Ashaun creeped up behind Amari making her jump
" You scared me ". Amari turned off the vaccum and faced Ashaun
" I'm sorry ". Ashaun lifted up Amaris wrist examing it as he cringed. The fact that he would hurt the love of his life made him feel bad. Amari quickly flinched as he ran his thrumb across the bruise that was very viseable. Seeing her reaction, ashaun kissed amaris wrist then pulled her into a hug apologizing over and over and how sorry he was and that he wouldn't do it again... Little did Amari know this wouldn't be the first or last time ashaun physically hurts her.....
