"Not again Ramon! Do not lock me up again!" I pleaded as I banged my fists against the door. This time I was locked inside a room in one of the towers. There were two Ganados outside the door. The only other way out of the room was a small window, which was not an appealing option as I was over two hundred feet above the ground. I was trapped once again. And this time I did not believe Leon was going to save me. I could only hope he was alright.

Soon I gave up screaming for Ramon. He was not coming. Slowly I sank to the floor, leaning against the door, wincing slightly as I did so. The cuts from where the Novistador had grabbed me stung. But because I was stubborn, I tried to ignore it. Instead, my head fell against the door as I attempted to hear something, anything but the low moaning voices of the Ganados. But there was nothing else.

My eyes soon began to flutter close. I fought my hardest to stay awake. I lost and finally gave in to sleep as darkness overtook me.

"Let me through!" a shrill voice shouted, waking me up. I quickly scrambled away from the door, reaching the window as it opened. I kept my eyes trained to the floor as I heard his footsteps get nearer to me. Even when I saw his feet I did not look up at him.

"Hello mi amor," Ramon gently said as he brushed a strand of my hair away from my face. His cold fingers grazed my cheek as he did. I turned my face away. Then his fingers skimmed over my back, causing me to flinch.

"You are bleeding," he commented. Was I? I hadn't noticed. The Novistador must have had a tighter grip than I had originally thought.

"Take your dress off," Ramon suddenly demanded. At this I froze for a moment before raising my head to look at him.

"No," I defiantly said to him. He growled lowly in threat.

"Amor," he threatened in a low growl. His fingers pushed deeper into my back. I bit my lip to keep from gasping in pain.

Slowly I reached behind myself to unbutton the dress enough for him to see the wounds. There was no way it was coming off of my body. This was apparently good enough for him as he made no comment. I felt his fingers move across my bare back, gently moving over the cuts.

I was about to tell him to stop when I felt cold lips on my neck. His breath sent shivers down my spine. My breathing hitched. But I did not move. It felt like I was paralyzed, unable to move from my position. His lips moved to my jaw, small kisses being littered over it. Only when his lips nearly touched mine did I finally move. I pushed him away and backed myself into a corner. How I wished he would leave.

He didn't.

Instead, with a speed I hadn't thought possible, he rushed toward me and took my chin in his small hands with bruising force. The more I tried to get away, the more force he used to keep me in place.

"Do you hate me so much you cannot look at me? Do you harbor so much hatred that you cannot stand my touch? Amor, I thought you loved me," he teased darkly.

"Get away from me," I demanded. Ramon moved his lips to my ear rather than leaving.

"Not yet mi amor," he said. Once more I told him to get away from me. He laughed. He pressed me further into the wall and again I bit my lip to keep from screaming as an intense pain shot through my body.

"I am sorry, did that hurt?" he whispered. Tears threatened to fall from my eyes.

"Leave me alone-" I was swiftly cut off by Ramon's dry lips over my own. His hands tore mine away from the front of my dress and pinned them beside me. My torn dress, which was still unbuttoned, loosely clung to my body.

I tried to turn away but failed. His tongue slowly moved around my mouth. In a panic, I bit it. He quickly pulled away, then slapped me hard across my face. My teeth cut into the inside of my cheek. I spit out the blood in my mouth, both mine and Ramon's.

"Little wench!" Ramon shouted at me before exiting the room.

I remained in the corner. I buttoned my dress back up and drew my knees to my chin. There I sat with tears flowing from my eyes like the pitiful little girl I was.
