 (Ryan's Account)

The days that led up to my last day at the police office were rather uneventful, exclusive of the arrival of other young criminals, and the constant scolding the Great Evil decided to aim in my direction ever so often. Michael had been fired, without sympathy, but even that didn't seem to please the Great Evil.

“How could you be so careless concerning your power that you go around burning tables?” he would inquire constantly, his tone lowered in disappointment.

At other times (of which I am sure he was trying to make me upset), he would insult me saying, “You are of no use to either the Highest or the Fallen,” and things of that sort. Time passed gradually, and before I could even acknowledge it, I was standing face to face with my assigned defense lawyer ( of which I assume was assigned to me by the government), a prosecution lawyer and two police officers : one a male, and the other a female.

The interview started swiftly, with question after question being fired to my direction.
