Help idk why but i ship Zach and Jess lmao

It was a nice day, and like you see most groups of teens these days, the group of friends decided to hang out together.

There were a few different options on where they should go, until it was finalized by Hannah that they go to the fair to check out the booths, games, and rides.

"Come on, it's gonna be so fun!!" she squealed, and everyone pretty much agreed solely because of how adorable her excitement was.

As they approached there, they sort of went their separate ways, still not too far from each other, though. Tyler went to take pictures of all the rides and booths with Courtney, Tony made Hannah and Clay come to a vintage booth with him, Zach and Jessica were being complete idiots watching Justin and Alex's every move, and so on with everyone else.

But backtrack to Jess and Zach, whose main mission was to get Alex and Justin together.

"Justin likes Standall, dude, he never shuts the hell up about the kid when he's at my place." Zach whispered as he and Jess sat on the bench.

"Okay, dude," she said with finger quotes, smiling, "I think Alex has made himself very obvious about Justin."

"No shit! They've both been getting awkward, and at this point I'm praying for one of them to grow a pair and ask the other out."

"The amount of dedication you put into these two is adorable," Jess giggles, looking over at the boy beside her. "It's sweet."

Zach laughed nervously, and he blushed. "I, uh . . . thanks." he half smiled awkwardly, looking back at Jess. "I, uh, I guess I just want my best friend and your  best friend to be happy."

"That is honestly the cutest thing ever, I'm going to vomit. And the award for the jock with the biggest heart goes to -" she beamed, sticking both of her arms out at Zach.

He laughs lightly, but then his face changes as if he's got some stellar idea, and lucky for them, that was actually the case.

"Hey, what if we somehow managed to get them trapped together on a cart in the Ferris Wheel? Like later tonight."

"Two things," she started, and she looked a bit confused, too. "1.) Why a ferris wheel? And 2.) I'm down no matter what as long as it happens, to be real."

"I feel like it's one of those iconic places where people confess their undeniable love for each other, y'know?" he smiled again, and you could tell how dedicated he really was. "Like, they're at the top and then one of them in not a pussy suddenly and tells the other."

"Zach, I'm gonna cry this is so cute." she pretended to fan her eyes to get rid of fake tears, causing a small snicker from the both of them. "But, yes, I'm down. If we don't leave with Justin and Alex together I'm jumping off the ferris wheel."

"Same." they both grinned, fist bumping and standing up to quickly tell Hannah of the plan (Tony and Clay thought that the forced scenarios were starting to get old, but they'd never say it because that would only result in a playful but still painful smack from Hannah.).

About an hour later, it was beginning to get a bit darker and cooler. It was beginning to be time for the 'plan' to initiate.

"Alex, you like the ferris wheel, yeah?" Jess questioned, nudging him as the group seamlessly walked around.

"I, uh, yeah? I feel like everyone does," he smiled back at Jessica.

"Let's all go on, final ride!" Hannah budged in, and looked back at Clay and Tony, who just shrugged with a smile, then Zach, who was doing his best not to burst out with how badly he wanted Justin and Alex to just fucking date already.
