Two months later, I was cleaning and checking on Cody's empty house.
I was able to walk after the first month, just like the doctor said.
I was able to go back to work in the cafe and it was a lot easier to get to class.
I would usually have Dylan push me around on the wheelchair, but once I got better, I was free.
Soon enough I'll have enough money to rent an apartment. Ever since I've been living with Dylan, I've been sleeping on the couch.
Dylan had offered his bed but I denied. I've learned a lot about him.
I learned why he wanted to become a doctor and what his past was like.

As I was dusting Cody's furniture my phone started ringing.

"Hello" I answered

"Yo, Y/n how are you?"

I recognize that voice anywhere, it was Andrea.

"I'm good. You?"

"I'm great. I just called to check if you were still coming over tonight"

"Yeah, I just need to get some stuff from Dylan's house and I'll be there in a bit" I explained

"Cool. I can't wait for tomorrow! Are you excited?!"

"Yeah I guess" I mumbled

"It's the day you've been dreaming of, and you don't sound excited at all"

"I just-"

Andrea cut me off
"You're thinking about Cody, aren't you?"

I sighed
"I miss him so much-"

Suddenly I heard the door open.

"I have to go! I think Cody is home"
I hung up and pretended to clean the living room furniture.

Cody walked in and looked around.
"Hey" he said lowly

His voice made my heart break. I missed him. I wanted to run up to him and give him a hug.

"Hey" I said
I quickly grabbed my stuff and walked towards the door about to leave.

"Where are you going?" Cody asked

"Dylan's house" I replied

He raised his eyebrow
"Dylan's house?"

"Yeah."

"Why?" he asked

"Cause that's where I'm staying at"

Cody gave me a confused look

I sighed
"I told you I was moving out"

"What?! No you didn't!" he spat

"I told you that I was only going to be your maid. Not your roommate."

Cody ran his fingers through his hair frustrated.
"Fine. But if you're going to be my maid then you're going to have to act like one."

"What the hell are you talking about?" I spat

"Tomorrow you will come at 3 o'clock sharp, with your uniform on, and from now on you will call me Mr. Carson" he said sternly

"I can't, MR.CARSON"

"Why?" he spat

"Cause I'm graduating tomorrow"

The stern look that Cody had on his face disappeared, and was replaced with a sad one.

"Y-you're what?"

"Graduating, but I can come clean up the place at five." I replied

He stayed quiet for a second.
"Congratulations y/n"

"Thanks Mr. Carson"
I grabbed my stuff and left his house.

I felt like crying. The way he said my name made my stomach turn. Seeing him made me happy but it also made me feel terrible.
I had gotten off the bus and I walked to Dylan's house.
Dylan wasn't home but he had given me the key.
I opened the door and I grabbed my backpack then I locked the door behind me and walked to Andrea's house, which was 5 blocks away.
When I got there Andrea was outside waiting for me.
She ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"I'm so happy to see you!" she said while letting go of me.

"I am too"

"So what did Cody say?"

"Nothing much"

She sighed
"You miss him, don't you?"

"There's not a day when I don't think of him."

"Do you think he actually cheated?"

I ran my fingers through my hair.
"I'm not sure"

Andrea grabbed my hand and dragged me to her room.
"Screw him! The real problem is what you're going to wear for your graduation!"

I looked in her closet trying to find the perfect dress to wear.
A red dress caught my attention.
"What about this one?" I asked Andrea

She smiled
"That's perfect"
She grabbed some high heels that matched the dress.

"This is perfect"

She smiled then grabbed my hand.
"Tonight we are going to party."

I frowned
"I'm not feeling it"

"You're never feeling it!"

"Can we just watch a movie? Or something?" I asked

"Ugh! Fine! But first you have to tell me what the deal is between you and Dylan."

"There's nothing going on between us."

She laughed
"Yeah right. He so likes you!"

"I don't know"

"After all he's done for you, you aren't even going to give him a chance?"

"It wouldn't feel right"

She sighed
"Whatever, it's your loss."

Andrea got up and turned on the TV. We watched a bunch of movies, then we fell asleep on the couch.

******************
Andrea woke me up early and yelled at me to get ready. I got into the red dress and I put on the heels.
Andrea did my make up and my hair.

"You look amazing"

I chuckled nervously.
"Thanks"

"Lets get going, we don't want to be late" she said

We got into her car then we drove to school.
When we got there we saw Dylan talking to his friends.
He looked at us and waved.
"Wow! Y/n, you look beautiful!"

I felt my cheeks heating up.
"thank you"

"Let's go to the auditorium, we don't want to be late" he said

We quickly rushed to the auditorium and sat down in alphabetical order.
As the graduation began, I began to think of my future.
What is my life going to look like after this?
As time went by they finally called my name. I walked on stage and received my diploma, then I sat back down in my chair.
All I have to do is wait until they call everyone else's name.
I tapped my foot impatiently as the minutes went by.
I looked at the time and it was already 4:45.
After a few more minutes they called the last person.
I quickly rushed out of the auditorium and ran to the bus stop. Thankfully the bus was there.
I texted Andrea to tell her that I was going to Cody's house.

When I got there, the living room was filled with dozens of roses and balloons everywhere.
