❝ Remember this? ❞ Paul asked as he rose a ring candy in hand, a goofy smile on his face as Zara looked at him in confusion. The air is still filled with awkwardness and he was really up to clear it.
Maybe supersede it with happiness.
❝ We used to buy these and pledge our promises. It was our promise ring, ❞ he diverted his gaze from the candy and towards the cliff the two went, she silently gasped upon remembering.
A small smile dancing on her lips as she looked at him, ❝ Well, you tend to eat those before we even get to promise. And we pledges after we eat it, so I think it's not really a promise ring? ❞
Her voice hinted with humor, his face looking back at her just to see it himself. But after a few seconds - both erupted to laughters.
Just remembering the moment together.
It wouldn't last long.
