"Jack is my new friend and I decided to let him sit next to me because he needed to be caught up with what we were doing" I explained to Ethan who's jaw was clenched and looked mad

"Well you should've told him already" Ethan said

"Ethan, please" I said touching his arm

"Fine Ally but can we hangout after school?"

"I was planning on hanging with Jack..." I said

"Oh well ok... Can we hangout at night? I need to tell you some stuff" Ethan said

"Alright" I said

"Bye babes" I said

"Bye babe" Ethan said

After School

Me and jack were on the bleachers watching the football players practice

"So what do you mean about Ethan?" Jack says breaking the silence

"Well... He was trying to have sex with me but I didn't let him so we made a deal about whoever falls for each other first loses" I said

"And well... I kinda fell for him and he did too but he never really has asked me out" I said

"Oh... well let me tell you something about Ethan" jack said looking at me. I nod and pay attention to what he is about to say

"Ethan has a reputation of fucking every girl since sophomore year... He supposedly got a girl pregnant and she disappeared"

"Ethan had a girlfriend in freshman year but he broke her off because she was being a little too clingy with Ethan. Her name was Sofia Olivera"

"Then he had his second girl was Meredith Mickelson. Ethan fell in love with her and she did too but someone changed her mind and he found her cheating on him with this guy"

"This was in sophomore year... Ethan has then fucked a lot of girls... I would rather you not really be with him because he will hurt you" Jack said

"But he seems so sweet... Ethan was like that but not anymore. I don't want him to be fucking anyone and all but he won't do that to me" I said

"I'm just telling you to be careful" jack said

"How long have you been in Jersey for?" Jack asks

"I've been in Jersey for three weeks now" I replied going on my phone to see if my mom texted back

"That's nice. You know downtown Jersey right?"

"No... My parents don't really let me go far.. Especially with boys" I said

"Why?" He asks

"Lets see... My mom was in the military but then retired, my dad was in the military and was scarred for life and now he is over protective about me"

"And there was a rapist on the loose and my dad didn't want me out of the house. Not even my friends house who was across he street..." I said

"Oh wow..." Jack said

"Can I ask you something?"

"Ask away"

"Well why are you and the twins a little ya know... Mad at each other" I said

He stares out into the football field then back at me

"Well it's because I did something stupid and got them mad and now we don't talk to each other anymore"

"What did you do?" I ask

"I- do you promise not to tell anyone?" Jack said giving me a serious look

"I promise" I said

"I was selling drugs and the twins were too but my dad found out and asked who was selling them or getting the drugs too and we'll..."

"I said that the twins were too and it just slipped out of my mouth. We got into this huge fight. I regret telling my dad I regret it!" Jack said but the last sentence was a little louder

"I just wish I could tell them that I'm sorry"

"Try Jack" I said

"Oh you don't know how much I've tried Ally. I have said it so many times but they don't care" Jack says burying his hands in his face

I rub his back and hug him slightly

"Jack just say it with even more sorry in you're voice. Say it like you mean it even more" I said giving him a smile even if he doesn't see me

"I'll try" he says

He leans over and puts his head on my shoulder. I jump a little at his sudden move

"Can you be my friend because everyone at this school hates me" jack says

"Of course I will" I said smiling

At the house*

Jack dropped me off at my house. I heard people talking and I go into the living room to see my dad, Ethan, my mom, and Lilly talking

"Hey guys" I said going up to my dad giving him a hug, then my mom, then Lilly but he pulled my hair making me push her back

"Ow" I said furrowing my eyebrows and rolling my eyes to sit next to Ethan

"So Ally Rose. Ethan here is a great guy" my dad says

"Yea he's amazing" I said slightly smirking at him

"So you guys are dating right?" My mom asks

"No" I said awkwardly

My mom and dad look at each other and then look at me and Ethan. They were like communicating with each other but not talking. I bite my bottom lip and look straight into my moms eyes and then my dads

"You guys can go out for a little bit. Ethan get her back here before 10. Ally Rose don't do anything wrong" my dad says looking into my eyes making me feel a little scared

"Ok" I said not believing what my dad just said. I stand up and Ethan does the same. His face with a puzzled look.

"Bye guys" I said confused

"Bye"

"Don't bring her back late Ethan!" My dad said intimidating Ethan

"Ok Mr. Paine"

I go into Ethan's car and I look at my parents and Lilly looking at us through the living room curtains trying not to make it obvious

I press the horn and they jump making me giggle

"I'm taking you somewhere where it's special to me. Grayson, my own twin brother that I can't live without doesn't even know about this place"

"Ok" I said

We drove in silence as Ethan grabbed my left hand. I grabbed his back holding it tightly

"We're here"

I look at the place and stand there in shock amazed on how beautiful it looks
