Chapter 7: infirmaries & a fatherly visit

Andromeda's POV

After hugging Percy I was rushed off to the infirmary by Apollo campers, and me being stubborn wouldn't go unless Percy came with me. When they tried to move me it didn't work, why? because there was a statue sized icicle in my leg. The thing in my leg froze my leg and practically gave my in-tire leg frost bit so since the couldn't move me they decided to take the thing out of leg right there in the woods. and let me tell you it hurt like hades.

After they took it out from my leg they rushed me off to the infirmary where I was given morphine to dull the pain and some ambrosia and nectar to eat, I also got thirty stitches and my leg was all bandaged up.

I really didn't want to stay in the infirmary so I complained that I was bored so the people gave me crutches so I could walk, even though I was given crutches Percy insisted that he stay by and help saying "Its my fault I can at least help" over and over again til I whacked him in the shine with the crutch saying "yes you can but no smothering me ok" and he nodded.

When me and Percy walked out of the infirmary people turned around and started whispering and talking to their friends while some other people turned and pointed at me and saying "There she is the new girl you saved us" and others saying "its in their blood" or "show offs I tell ya". With all the whispering you would think I cared I don't its just annoying like font they have life's to live or something.

"Just ignore them" said Percy at some point where we were at the beach, all his friends were there they waved and said hi. I looked art each one of them but one face stood out of all them instead of happiness or concern it was guilt, it was annabeth so I walked over to her and grunted as I sat down beside her with the help of Percy.

"Hey annabeth what's wrong" I ask and she turns her head " it's just you saved my life and how you killed that without any type of training was wow! and I should be the one asking what is wrong" she ask and I laughed at her blabbering but just smiled at her "Nothing wrong see I'm smiling" I flash her smile and she smiles "and nothing is wrong and thanks I'm fine really" I say to her and I give her a hug, she seems shocked but hugs back.

As were hugging someone clears their throat so we pull apart from our hug and we look up to see my father.

"um hey" I say to him and he looks like he wants to disappear or something."Hello Andromeda I um over heard you'res and Percy conversation last night and I can tell you who your mother is"_ he says and I stand up with the help of annabeth and Percy."Really! who?" I ask and he looks at Percy then back at me "um you're mothers name it well um Sally Jackson you and Percy are truly brother and sister you Andromeda were separate at birth and sally did not know of you and doctors wanted to her but they looked on her charts and found out that she was only having a baby boy, I'm sorry I couldn't tell or find you sooner I have informed sally to meet you at her apartment and Percy will take you" that's all he said then flashed out as we all looked away he left me with answers, answers that made my blood boil I'm sorry I could find you sooner, that's bull I'm glad I know who my mom is but you can't just drop a bomb of truth then leave that's not how this works.

"Well this is awkward" said Leo and all I did was nod and so did Percy I mean what else are supposed to do in these seductions.

well at least you get to met your mother says my self-conscience and I couldn't help but smile at the thought of knowing who she is but what about chad.
