How did you get into the 80s?
So this is a pretty mixed up story... Firstly when I was about 9-10 years old I started liking Michael Jackson, because my mom had his CD in the car and I liked it. Then I discovered Cyndi Lauper, because of a CD of my dad. And for a long period of time I used to listen to Michael Jackson and Cyndi Lauper songs only. Yep only those songs. I didn't like modern music (well I still don't like it) but back then I wouldn't even listen to it.
Now about the 80s movie/actors/etc fandom.
It all happened during the summer of 2015... It was the anniversary of The Goonies and me and my family watched it. I've watched The Goonies before that summer, but I was never that interested. After watching The Goonies it became my favorite movie and Corey Feldman my favorite actor. Thanks to him I discovered River Phoenix, Corey Haim and Wil Wheaton and this whole amazing fandom. I remember watching all his 80s movies in my grandmas house lmao. And I watched Stand By Me two times in a row.
