Sanyukta was sitting at her cell became unmindful when Parth came there.
"I'm sorry Sanyu main wo bail nehi karwa paya, wo Randhir sir... I can't believe that he is the public prosecutor!" Parth sighed helplessly when Sanyukta kept mum.
"Sanyukta am telling you we must hire another lawyer, a good one. Otherwise we'll going to loose the case." Parth said worriedly.
"Yes Parth, maine bahut socha, you must leave the case. You can't beat him and I don't want you to loose your first case. Your whole carrier will depends on it." Sanyukta said in a serious way.
"It's not about my carrier Sanyukta, it's about your life." Parth replied.
"Jo vi hain you must leave the case." Sanyukta warned him.
"Yeah okay, I'll appoint the best lawyer for your case soon." Parth assured her.
"You can't Parth." Sanyukta said when Parth looked at her confusingly.
"You can't hire the best cause Randhir Singh Shekhawat himself the best lawyer of the country, no one can beat him." Sanyukta said slowly when Parth sighed.
"Jo vi ho I'll hire another lawyer for this case Sanyu." Parth said again.
"No need Parth, I don't need any lawyer now." Sanyukta said when Parth looked at her shockingly.
"Then who will fight the case?" Parth asked confusingly.
"Maybe you are forgetting Parth that am also a lawyer and will fight my case by own." Sanyukta said made him numb for some seconds.
"Are you out of your mind Sanyu! This is not any game, this is very serious matter. It's a life or death situation how could you take it so lightly?" Parth asked shockingly.
"I don't take it lightly Parth, I take it more seriously then you..."
"Ohh you take it seriously that's why you are saying all this rubbish!" Parth said angrily.
"I know you better than anyone Sanyu, you can't hide anything from me. You just want to give him back his every credit that's why you are thinking to sacrifice your life, right?" Parth asked coldly when Sanyukta kept mum.
"I agree ke Randhir sir ka bahut ehsaan hain hum par, main yeh vi manta hu ke mujhse galti huyi hain but that not means ke you will sacrifice your life Sanyu, aur wo vi uss galti ke liye jo tune kiya hi nehi!" Parth's voice became gloomy.
"Kiya hain maine galat Parth, kiya hain. Kisi ki jaan li hain maine, I'm a bloody murderer." She said and broke down on her knees. Parth also sat on his knees.
"No Sanyu, don't talk like this, I know you are innocent and we will find out a way together." Parth squeezed her hand a little giving her an assurance.
"No Parth am not innocent, I killed Sameer. I-I shoot him, I-I..." Sanyukta now bursted out into tears when Parth hold her shoulder.
"No Sanyukta that's not your fault, that was an accident jo kisi ke saath vi ho sakta tha." Parth said gulping down the pain when Sanyukta looked at him.
"Don't worry we'll find out a way." Parth forced a smile.
"No Parth it's a dead end, there is no way to escape. Randhir sir needs only few minutes to prove me guilty and the fact is am really guilty. And I'm ready for my punishment." Came her whisper.
"Kiss baat ki punishment Sanyu, kiss baat ki saza! Uss galti ki jo tune kiya hi nehi, yeah phir uss galti ki saza jo tune majburi mein kiya! You didn't killed Sameer intentionally Sanyu, that's an accident, toh phir tujhe saza kyu milegi?" Parth let out his frustration.
"Parth court emotion par nehi proves par chalta hain aur saare proves mere khilaf hain, you can't do anything so it's better you back off." She said slowly.
"Main haar nehi manne wala, I'll hire the best one and will make you free Sanyu." Parth said determinedly and before Sanyukta can say anything he left from there.

The clock strikes 11. Arpita was waiting for Parth impatiently when he came.
"Bahut der kar di, itni late ho geya I was worried." Arpita said giving him a glass of water. Parth drank that when Arpita sat down beside him.
"Iss case main tumhare against bhai hain iss liye nervous ho?" Arpita asked when Parth kept mum for sometimes but then he said.
"Don't know what to do! Sanyukta ki case bahut complected hain aur upor se Randhir sir public prosecutor. Yeha jitne vi achchhe criminal lawyer hain main sabke pass geya tha Sanyukta ka case leke but koi vi lawyer iss case ko lene ke liye ready nehi hain. Sab bol rahe hain ke iss case mein koi dam nehi hain, jitne ki koi chance hi nehi hain." Parth let out his frustration.
"Aur upor se Sanyu, wo bol rahi hain ke main yeh case chhod du, wo aapna case khud ladegi. Such an emotional fool." Parth said with mixed emotion thus Arpita became surprised.
"Keya Sanyu di ne aaisa kaha tumse!" She was shocked.
"Haan, wo chahati hain ke Randhir sir yeh case jeet jaye aur use saza ho jaye. Aaisa karke wo sir ka karz utarna chahati hain. Actually she wants to expiate on this way." Parth said when Arpita became numb for sometimes.
"Aaj di humari galti ka saza bhugat rahi hain na!" She whispered when Parth hold her hand.
"Nehi Arpita aaisa kuch nehi..."
"Aaisa hi hain Parth, Sanyu di humari galti ki saza bhugat rahi hain. Kash ke main bhai ko sab kuch saach saach baata sakti." She hide her face on Parth's chest and cried.

Next day Parth and Arpita both came to the police station to meet Sanyukta. They saw her tired figure, pale face and Arpita cried as she saw some buries on Sanyukta's cheeks.
"Did they beat you?" Parth asked when Sanyukta lowered her lashes.
"How dare they touch you, am not going to leave them. They have to pay for it." Parth greeted his teeth and about to go when Sanyukta hold his hand.
"Parth I'm fine, please don't go anywhere." Sanyukta pleaded.
"No it's not okay, unki himmat kaisi huyi tujh par haat uthane ki, main kisiko nehi chhodunga." Parth is now fuming in anger when Sanyukta made him cool.
"I'm fine, bass thoda sa time hain wo main aapne iss family ke saath spend karna chahati hu, sit down." Sanyukta made him sit.
"Di main aapke liye suji ki halwa layi hu, khao na please." Arpita said wiped her tears when Sanyukta smiled.
"Aare wah, wo chhoti si Arpita aabhi khana vi banati hain!" She wants to make the atmosphere happy.
"Aare chhoti kaha hu di, aabhi toh main maa banne wali hu." Arpita said shyly.
The atmosphere was light for some moments but tension back again as Parth told her about the crisis when Sanyukta kept mum as she knows it will be happen. No one going to take her case. She said Parth to leave the case again but Parth being stubborn denied to listen her and decided to fight the case by own.
