*Lunchtime*

Lunchtime finally came, as the last class bell rang. I hurriedly took to my locker, putting my bag in before taking a second to look at myself. Yeah. I had a mirror in my locker. I know, judge me. I care about my looks. I just shut my locker when a surprising, "Hey man!" rang through to me. My ears perked as I jumped a bit, looking over. "Hey Matt, I never introduced myself." He held out a paw to me, as I shook it shyly. I didn't happen to notice I was blushing, but he pointed that out. "You wanna join me at l-lunch?" I asked him, trying to be nice. "And oh...yeah, you we're gonna introduce yourself? I'm Matt Fischer." I chuckled shyly, my face a bit red. "Felix." He smiled a bit, before saying, "Sure!"

I had to contain myself from excitement. I had no clue why I was like this around him. Something about him had me fluttering in my mind. I couldn't ruin a friendship with my feelings though, so I kept myself the best I could. We walked over to the lunch table, getting in line. We actually made it first, and also...we'd be the only two at my table. Everyone else was gone for a career trip. "So what's for lunch?" I had to ask. I hate awkward silence. "Seems to be sub sandwiches. Good." He smiled a bit, walking inside.

We greeted the lunch ladies, got our stuff, and we sat down. The lunchroom, at my table, was rather quiet, so I broke the silence. "So Felix, where ya from?" He set his milk down a second, "A school about uhh...30 or 40 miles from here." He was thinking a minute. "You mean, uhh...Northern Heights?" I tapped my fingers a little before his eyes lit up. "Yeah!" He set his sub down after a few bites. "You been there before? I had to move because of family issues." His smile faded a little more.

I figured I shouldn't ask, so I didn't. "Good to have another buddy at the lunch table! Say, are you in any sports?" "Yeah, Track!" I smiled brightly at this. Me and him had most of the same classes, and now we shared sports! "That's awesome!" I exclaimed, coughing a little. "Don't get too excited man!" He chuckled, finishing up his lunch. I had just finished mine, as we went to put our trays up. He surprised me with this, but he asked, "You wanna hang out after school? Been looking to hang with somebody and whatnot. Kinda boring at my house." He bobbed his head, emphasizing boredom. "That'd be great!" I suppressed a hug, but I gave him a fist bump. "See ya Felix! I got 5th hour. Algebra II."

He watched me walk off, before yelling over, "See ya man!" He smiled a little, as he walked off.

I watched Matt walk off with a smile on my face. I couldn't help but adore his voice. He was just so adorable. I loved his not so manly look. I don't like bodybuilder men, or muscular jerks. He was just right. The way his ears perked looking at me, his fur shone a bit in the school's light. He was everything I wanted. I decided this was the time to make my move on him. I was just scared he might not be friends with me if I did though. I guess I'd have to see tonight.
