taehyung honestly did not know what came in their mother's mind to buy a dog, it's not like he's against it or anything but he just really wanted to focus on his studies but he still greeted the pup with open arms.

sure he loves dogs,because who doesn't? they're a ball of cuteness.

his mother reasoned that she bought the dog because she noticed that he was getting kinda neglected because both her and his father were busy in their company and businesses.

taehyung sighed to himself as he set his pen down beside the book, lucky for him the homework was easy so he can get at least walk the dog because his mother said so.

the past few weeks weren't easy for him because he focused on both playing with the puppy and studying but somehow he got through it and thought he needed a break for once.

both taehyung and the puppy he named "chim" created a bond which his mother was overjoyed at.

"come on, chim wanna go for a walk? "tae asked the puppy who wagged it's tail vigorously with an accompanying bark, getting a sling bag they went out for their daily walk.

taehyung looked at their neighbourhood and smiled, it was quiet yes plus the good thing was that he knows everyone of their neighbours except the one who just newly arrived some few weeks ago.

taehyung wanted to greet them first but he didn't get the consent from his mother because she was busy, as always so he never got the chance.

chim calmed down and walked rhythmically with taehyung as both know their usual routes.

"sumgyeowasseo,I tell you something,geujeo mudeodugien,ijen beotil suga eobneun geol"taehyung started, it fit his voice perfectly even though he sometimes lost a beat he was perfectly fine with it.

he continued to sing when he stopped to tie his shoe lace that annoyingly got loose.

he only stopped when he heard clapping a floor above him, looking up he saw the palest boy you can ever see with the top of a coconut styled hair.

taehyung blushed from the sudden attention, he thought that no one can hear him because he was trying to be quiet but boy he was wrong.

"I'm sorry did i bother you? "taehyung asked the other as he shielded his eyes from the sun as he looked up.

"actually no i very much like your voice, i look forward to it everyday"the other replied shyly

it was kinda creepy but taehyung rolled with it, "that's nice, is it okay if i come inside to meet you or... "

the other shook his head "it's okay but you can come tomorrow if you'd like, your puppy seems impatient"

and indeed he was, taehyung smiled and looked at the other again "i'll meet you tomorrow then? "

"sure, i'm jungkook by the way"

"taehyung! "

elderly couples walked passed them,some gave looks of approval some looked annoyed.

"please lower down your ruckus, young men my hearing is as sensitive as ever! "

both men chuckled before taehyung waved his hand goodbye

"i'll be going now,nice to meet you by the way! "taehyung smiled rectangularly and started walking away with chim.

"you little rascal"taehyung joked with his puppy even though he didn't understand.
