Her hand cupped my cheek and stayed there. We just looked at each other as if we were reading each other's thoughts. Before I could look away I felt her lips against mine. I didn't pull away at all this time. It was a soft kiss, and her lips just lingered on mine. I turned my body and put both of my arms around her while straddling her lap.

Feeling her lips against mine just gave me a sudden rush. My brain was going with the moment. As if I couldn't control myself or thoughts. My hands slid down her sides as I felt her curves. I kissed her deeper. I could feel our kisses becoming sloppy. I felt Mitchie grip my thighs that were still straddling her. I grinded my hips into hers. I let out a moan, bring completely lost in the moment and not realizing that I was still in my bedroom and that my Mom's room is across the hall. I pulled away from Mitchie got off of her lap. I crawled to the edge of the bed and sat there.

"Alex... I um-"

"Mitch you have to leave." I said realizing how far I let this kiss go. What was I thinking? This girl used to hate me and it was only our first day back to school. And now she's in my bed. She has to be playing a trick on me. This whole day must of had just been some kind of joke that I am waiting to find out about. "Just go away please."

"Alex why are you saying this? You were just kissing me a minute ago." She sat next to me. Her voice sounded like she was about to cry. I wanted to believe her but this whole situation just didn't make sense to me.

"I don't understand why you are suddenly being so nice to me and saying that you like me. I'm confused about you." I say quietly.

She scoots closer to me and holds my hand. I look at her notice that she's staring down at our hands. "I never knew how to properly get your attention. I've always been known as the girl that nobody wanted to mess with. You were just the quiet girl and everyone seemed to pick on you for that. I didn't want to lose my reputation, plus I wanted you to notice me. To be honest, I always knew you were a lesbian..."

I look at her and feel my cheeks turning red. I roll my eyes looking down smiling.

I hear her laugh softly and I think I just fell in love with something else about her. Her laugh. Wait did I say love? Snap out of it Alex.

"But this year I don't care anymore. I want to somehow eventually make you mine, Alex. I really do. And I know it's not going to be easy for the both of us. But we can try. We can do this slowly. Or even slower than slowly anything you want Alex." She says sincerely.

I giggle at her last sentence and she looks at me smiling. "Don't laugh at me!"

"Slower than slowly?" I look at her smirking.

Mitchie tackles me onto my bed. I giggle again and look into her eyes that seem to be sparkling because of the moon light. "So are you going to ask me something then?" I ask Mitchie.

"Well, Alex..." Mitchie clears her throat and makes a proper face. I wack her arm gently and she looks at me. "I'm kidding! Okay Alex, will you... marry me?"

I look at Mitchie and roll my eyes smiling. "Seriously Mitchie!"

"Will you go on a date with me Alex?" this time shes smiling and looking into my eyes again with that sparkle in them.

"Yeah, I'd love to." I whisper to her getting lost in her beautiful brown eyes again.

It wasn't until that moment that I hear movement from my mom's room. My smile drops and quickly push Mitchie off of me. "You have to leave now!" I whisper-yell.

She climbs out of my window, onto the fire escape ladder. I go over to the window to close it but before I do she captures my lips with hers for a quick second. I stood there dazed for a moment before I snapped back to what I was doing. She needs to not do that!

I crawl back under the blankets into my bed. I hear my door open and my mom look around. She must of heard noise from my bedroom. I know I'm probably going to hear about this in the morning. She leaves my room and shuts the door. I let out a sigh of relief and sit up to try and get my head back together.

I look over to my night stand and notice the folded up paper on it. It has Mitchie's name on it with a heart under it. I open up the paper and notice that it has a number on it which must obviously be hers.

I grab my cellphone and save her number under "Mitch<3". Yes the heart is very nessecary.

Alex: Hey it's Alex. You just casually left your number on my nightstand lol :)

After waiting three minutes I felt my phone vibrate

Mitch<3: Well I didn't want to pull the cheesy pick up line of "can I have your number" so I left mine for you ;)

Alex: Well I'm glad you did. Goodnight Mitchie :)

I didn't wait for a reply this time and let myself fall asleep. After all, I did have a really long day. But I don't know why I still have this deep down feeling that something's not right.

Mitch<3: Goodnight beautiful :)
