"STOP"
My eyes trailed to the door.
But I didn't get distracted.
I pounced onto Chat once she was distracted.

"Shelby you have to fight it" I say, trying to hold her down
I remember tears streaming down your face when I said I'd never let you go
"Ugh" Dame de Chat grumbles in frustration. Her eyes flicker from brown to purple over and over again.
When all those shadows almots killed your light
"Shelby...come back to me...please" I say
I remember you said don't leave me here alone
"Don't leave me Max..." I hear her whisper.
Well all that's dead and gone and past tonight
"Fight it Shelby" I say louder a bit.
Just close your eyes
Chat groans again and dissapears
The sun is going down
A smile with white teeth appear behind me.
You'll be alright
I jump back in surprise as Chat's body appears with the smile going onto her face.
No one can hurt you now
"SHELBY YOU CAN FIGHT IT"
Come morning light
"You're the strongest woman I know!"
You and I'll be safe
Chat pins me down on the ground
And, sound~
"How many times do I have to tell you?" Chat says in a semi-sweet tone.
Don't you dare look out your window
"Shelby"
darling everything's all right
"Is"
The war outside that door keeps raging on
"Gone" She finishes, leaving scratch marks on my arm.
Hold on to this lulleby
I watch the blood trickle down my skin slowly and painfully.
Even when music's gone
Shelby's eyes flicker again, this time turning brown.
Just close your eyes
"DON'T TOUCH HIM!" She yells
The sun is going down
Her eyes switch from green to brown over and over
You'll be alright
"You'll be okay Shelby. Just fight it" I say.
No one can hurt you now
Her eyes become green again and Chat attacks me, pinning me to the ground instead.
Come morning light
She uses her long sharp claws to cut my wrist.
You and I'll be safe
"Give me the miraculous" She hisses, digging her nails slightly deeper into my skin.
and sound~
"Shelby" I mumble, breathless.
Just close your eyes
Her eyes change back to brown
You'll be alright
"You can take over me. You can ruin my life. But no one touches Max" Shelby growls, pulling her body away.
Come morning light
A green flash appears around Shelby.
You and I'll be safe
"She's gone...I did it...wait...MAX!" She says. I smile.
And sound
Everything slowly fades to black and the last thing I see are those hazel brown eyes.
