"B-B-But we tried and-"
"That was the past Shelby. This is the present" Max says, cutting me off.
"You do know if we break up we not only loose the love of our lives but also loose our best friend right?" I say softly.
"We can only hope for the better Shelby. Isn't that what you taught me? Hope for the better, not the worse" He says smiling.
"Yes" I say.
"Hm?" He asks.
"I-I will be your girlfriend, Max" I say.
His smile turns into a wide grin.
He hugs me tightly.
"Shelby Grace is mine" he mumbles.
I giggle and hug him back.
~1 month later~
"SHUMPIE" Max yells.
"WHAT" I yell back.
"GIMME DEM CANDY" He yells from his office.
"GET YOUR OWN" I yell.
He walks into my office with Gally trailing behind.
"Pweaseeeeeee" He says.
Gally walks to me and sits beside my chair.
"No way!" I say.
"I bought you those candies" He sighs.
"Fine. You can have the jellybeans (fun fact: I hate some jelly beans and marshmellows. Now you know)" I say tossing him a small pack of jelly beans.
He grabs it, sits on the small sofa at the back of my office and starts eating it.
Gally licks my elbow and runs over to Max.
"Get your own candy Gally" Max says turning away from Gally.
Gally hops onto the sofa and starts licking Max's face repeatedly.
"Your a dog you can't have jelly beans" Max says while chuckling.
I stand up and reach for some treats I keep for Gally.
"Gally! Come here boy!" I say kneeling on the ground.
Gally runs up to me.
"Sit Gallio!" I say.
He obediently sits.
Gally places his paw on my leg and I give him 1 treat from the bag.
"It's great that Adam let Gally in the offices" I say, rubbing Gally's head.
"FOR THE VIEWS MEGAN" Adam yells from outside.
Max jumps off the sofa, startled.
Since the sofa is against the window, Adam suddenly appearing behind Max is just creating another 'Let's scare Max' series.
"MY NAME'S NOT MEGAN" I yell.
"LIES!" Max says.
"Your supposed to be on my side Max!" I say.
"I'm on the fence" Max chuckles.
"ADMIT IT MEGANNN" Adam yells walking into my office.
"MY NAME'S SHELBY" I say.
"Can I has chocolate?" Red asks walking in.
"NO" Adam, Max and I say in union.
"Awhhh" He says walking back into his office.
The three of us start laughing about how random this day was.
At this point I dunno what I'm doing with my life anymor :/
