The girls and I decided to bond over some coffee after buying Christmas gifts for the family and friends. Nakakatawa nga na nung mga gifts na for each other yung bibilhin namin, naghiwa-hiwalay talaga muna kami para secret pa din kung anong mga gifts. We'll open it on the 26th kapag nagkita-kita na kami.

Last saturday, we celebrated Gio and Karla's birthday sa Sandbox. Then pag-uwi namin from Pampanga, we had dinner at Karla's house. Another thing to celebrate was us passing the UPCAT. Yup, nakapasa kaming anim sa UPCAT. Hahahaha.

RJ, Pao, Gio and Kevin are going to take up Civil Engineering (proud of these four kasi quota course yun!), Karla is going to take up Tourism and I am going to take up Broadcast Communication. I changed my first choice which was BA Film, to BA BroadComm since pwede ko naman kunin sa masterals ko yung Film. Palalawakin (wow lalim) ko muna yung knowledge ko before I go study Film.

Pumasok kami sa loob ng isang cafe sa mall and ordered our drinks. Pagkakuha namin ng mga drinks namin, we sat on one of the couches.

"Guys, anong plano niyo pala pagdating sa college? Magrent ng room or uwian?" Gio asked Karla and I as we sat down. "Parang ang layo kasi kapag uwian eh, lagi pa namang traffic ngayon."

"Hindi ko pa natatanong kina nanay eh," I told them after sipping from my cup of ice cold coffee. "Update ko kayo once napag-usapan namin."

"My brother told me I can stay at his place daw," Karla said. "Hindi naman daw kasi niya nagagamit kasi lagi naman daw siyang wala." Karla's brother, Kurt, is a pilot who is out of the country most of the time. "Pwede tayo doon if you like. No fees, I promise!"

"Ano ka ba bakla, willing naman kami magshare sa mga dapat bayaran," I insisted. "Nakakahiya din naman sa kuya mo ano ka ba."

"Okay lang ba sa kuya mo na tumira din kami sa condo niya?" Gio asked.

Karla pulled her phone out from her bag. "Teka, I'll text him para sure. Pero I remember mom asking him if we can and he said yes naman," she started typing from her phone. She pressed send after saka niya binaba sa table yung phone niya. "Hintayin na lang natin magreply."

"Ilang rooms ba yung condo ng kuya mo?" Gio asked.

"Tatlo yun, medyo malaki since nasa corner yung condo. Nakakaloka yung kuya ko eh. Three bedroom condo yung kinuha pero lagi namang wala," Karla chuckled. "Pwede niyo i-occupy yung dalawang rooms, tig-isa kayo."

"Grabe girl thank you na in advance! Feeling ko naman papayag sina nanay," I told them. "Makikihati na lang kami ni Gio sa bills." Gio nodded and smiled.

"Sige, okay yan," we held hands and shrieked a bit. "Nakakaexcite!"

"Grabe, in three months gagraduate na tayo ng highschool," I heaved a sigh and leaned back on the couch. "Ngayon pa lang may sepanx na ko."

"Ang bilis nga ng araw eh. Akalain mong second week of December na?" Karla said after sipping from her cup.

"Kaya nga eh. Ang daming nangyari ngayong year na to," Gio chuckled. "Akalain mong magkakaboyfriend tayong tatlo?"

"Bakla, di kami makapaniwala nung sayo!" I exclaimed. "I still remember how pissed off you are with Kevin. Last schoolyear naman hindi kayo ganyan ah?"

Karla and I laughed as Gio buried her face on her palms, halatang kinikilig na ewan. Binato niya kami ni Karla ng tissue. "Chosera ka, Karla Pauline! Ikaw ang naunang magkaroon ng boyfriend sa atin no!"

"Hoy! Nananahimik ako dito ah!"

"Oo nga! Akala namin close lang kayo, yun pala dumadamoves na si Paolo sayo!"
