Chapter 7 •~Zach~•

"S-so w-what did you t-think"

I ask Archer who's looking at me smiling, I grin the biggest I could on my face, "So that means you liked it?" I asked him. He nodded yes, I don't know why I wanted him to be happy it just felt right but I know I can't let these feelings get to me I have to lock them away like I always have...

I don't want another heartbreak... My heart can't deal with that I... Just CAN'T!! I don't want to fall head over heels for someone that probably wants me for my body who wants to use me, I've been through that and I don't want that to happen to me Archer probably means well but I don't.... think I can return his feelings like he wants me to.

Everybody had left, everybody said their farewells the Kings were the last to leave. "Oh, Zach your voice is so wonderful I hope we get to hear it again maybe at someone's wedding...." Mrs.King said I gave a fake smile and replied "I would most likely not but thank you for the offer" I declined the most pleasant way I could. After they left my father wanted us to meet in the living room.

"So the reason why I called everyone here was to announce" we waited for him to continue, He pointed at Kyle to stand up as well as my mom "The reason I called you is because, Kyle is getting engaged." my jaw dropped as well as Nicole's, and Jacob's  "Wait wait... but to who, Kyle aren't you dating Emily think about her feelings, bro" Jacob said first "Yeah like Jacob said, Kyle please don't tell me your gonna dump her for this engagement!" Nicole said after him, those two were furious I didn't say anything because what am I gonna be able to do. 

"SHUT IT!" My father's voice roared in the living room "If you two would have let me finished I would tell who he is getting engaged to." They both shut their mouths and sat back down since they got up to yell. He looked at my mom for her to continue "He is getting engaged to Emily Diana Pierce the heir of Pierce Ammunition." Those two didn't have anything to say but I did.

"They are both in school are you sure this isn't a little rushed?" they both looked at me staring at me for a good second and father spoke "They both are in their last year of school so I don't think it's a little rushed, they won't have to think about it until they have the wedding" I nodded my head not speaking no more. Maybe more could've been said but I didn't feel like arguing with my parents, Kyle sat back down. 

"Another announcement your mother and I are getting a divorce" I sat there frozen as of everybody else there I wanted to open my mouth but it wouldn't move it was stuck shut "Just kidding kids I would never divorce your mother" I sighed in relief but kinda pissed about it, I'm not gonna say anything just you know to keep quiet. "Okay, that's all the announcements for today you all can go to bed all four of you got school tomorrow," Dad said looking at us, sending us away before I left I saw him hug mom and kiss her multiple times. I wish I could feel like that again. No, don't think that you're not gonna be depressed.

"Master Zach, It's time to wake up sir" A soothing voice woke me from my sleep, I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and saw Sebastian handing me my clothes.

"I was told to wake up every Master and Mistress in morning and if they did not wake up that I must take care of it." He said with an emotionless face but I can see the mischievousness in his eyes. I nodded sending him out of my room.

Throwing the blanket off of me, I got out of bed swaying a little god I hate morning breath I walked in the bathroom brushing my teeth and after removing my clothes but first not looking at the scars that I had on my body, I turned around to see myself in the mirror hovering my hands over the scars that litter my body. I can remember all the beatings I went through and I tried leaving, I tried telling people but in their eyes, he was an angel that wouldn't hurt a fly but what I saw was a monster that would kill a puppy.

I shook my head clearing away all the negative thoughts that were storming my head and got in the shower. I took a very long shower that didn't leave me any time to eat breakfast, I got dressed and quickly ran down the stairs, "Family! I'm leaving!" I yelled in the house, nobody responded since everybody had already left and I was the last one. I got my keys out and ran to my jeep unlocking the door and getting into my car. I started it and drove off to school wondering what was today gonna bring.

I drove to the school and parked my car, I went to the school already late and halfway through the first period. Since nobody was in the hallway I ran through the hallway to my class I was so late and once I enter everybody is gonna be looking at me which is really annoying they look at you like your a new creature from another planet its annoying so much.

I went to my first period which was World History and opened the door entering the class like I wasn't late at all and giving no fucks at all. I find my seat since this class was very chill and nobody bothered me or even stared at me as I enter. I find my seat next to my good friend Lenny who always was a bright and funny person. He stares at me as I seat down in my chair and says nothing, "Hey, What are we learning today?" I asked setting my stuff down and taking out the necessary things I need for class. "I don't really know... I haven't been paying attention at all," he said as he went back to working on another assignment for another class. 

I shake my head with a tiny smile on my face. He was always the best when I had a bad day or my morning was shitty. I found out what assignment we had to do today and did my work while listening to music.
