Chapter 1 •~Zach~•

Why is this bomb going off in my room at this very moment of my sleep "Zach, It's time to wake up" someone says in an innocent, but yet energetic voice "I'm waking... Up" I told her in a sleepy tone getting out of bed.

She walked out the room before I could tell her good morning knowing her she probably has a lot of work to do. I get dress and do my morning routine and go downstairs "Hello Zach finally made it to breakfast" Mother tells me I make a sound acknowledging her comment and sit down.

"Sebastian, Tell me what I have on my agenda today," Father says in a demanding yet soft tone. As Sebastian is about to speak aloud stomping noise is coming down the stairs "IM AWAKE DID I MISS BREAKFAST!!" my little brother Jacob yells.

"NO, YOU DIDN'T. NOW STOP YELLING!!" My older sister Nicole yells back. Jeez, can there be a day when nobody is yelling and it's quiet, They both sit down and stare each other down. "When does Kyle plan on getting out of bed," my mom asked, "That boy is always late to get up," Nicole says under her breath.

"I'm up, sorry" Kyle my older brother says and sits down to scarf down his breakfast. We all eat in silence saying nothing to each other it's always like this in the morning not saying anything and the only sound you is the clatter of dishes "Well I'm finished, So I'll see you three at school" I get up from the table leaving my dish on the counter for someone to clean it, I would clean it but I have to get to school early for a test and if I'm late I fail the course "Bye, Mike" I say waving at him, I leave before he can say anything back to me.

Turning on the car and driving to school with the radio on to Bebe Rexha is the best, I probably looked crazy to people driving or walking by since I was going crazy in the car dancing and singing to her song. I make it to school seeing some of my friends and saying hi to them when passing by, "ZACH!!!, DO YOU GOT THE REVIEW FOR THE TEST?!?!" my loving cousin Max ask

"Yes I do, Why?"

He looked down not looking me in the eye "I was wondering if I could study them..." He makes it seem like I'm gonna say no and let him fail, he looks up waiting for my response I sigh and nod he jumps up and down bringing unwanted attention "Okay! I get your happy stop now jeez... Sometimes I wonder how I'm related to you four" I mumble the last part, we walk into class walking by my other good friend Samantha "Hey Zach, Hey Max" I nod towards her while Max seems to be having a... Heart attack?
"Oh uhh Hi S- Samantha h- how was your day?" She gives him a weird look and responds "It barely started Maxxy" he always blushed at the nickname she gave him when we were younger "Oh uh Yeah heh" he says scratching behind his head blushing.

I rolled my eyes and sit down and study.

"Okay, Class put everything away and get ready for your test"

Everybody put their things away and got ready.

The test seemed pretty easy but probably not to some people "God those questions were too hard for my brain to comprehend" Max complains beside "I mean some of them were easy" Samantha responds to him "Or maybe if you studied like you were supposed to they could have been easy" I say rather harshly.

They both give me a look and walk ahead off somewhere. I look beside me and saw my siblings talking to some people which are their friends.

"Hey Cameron look it's the moody freak"

"Aye don't get near me I may get a disease from you"

Seems like my 'Tormenters' are at it with their little side comments, whatever thing comes out there is so freaking weak did there mom not give them a brain when they were being made inside of her

"Look if your gonna talk about me at least make better comebacks than 2nd-grade ones," I say to them and walking off to my next class.

School is over and all I have to do so worry about not getting caught while going to work.

"Hey, Zach!" Someone yells right behind me I turn around and stare into blue eyes of a person taller than me "Yes..?" He stared at me for a moment then snapped out of it "Oh uh what was I gonna ask..... Oh yeah! I was wondering if you maybe we could hang out this week just the two of us and nobody else" I acted like I thought about it "No thanks Archer I have... Stuff to do" he gives me a disappointed look "Oh yeah I- It's fine I guess we all have a life, right?" he says playing it off I sigh if only we had that person we wish was in your life, STOP! You can't think of him Zach he's long gone. It seemed like I was in thought for too long "Zach are you okay?" Archer says with a worried look I nod and walk off not giving him the time of day I hear him sigh and walk off, what can I say? I have 'work' to get done. I make it to work with time left.

The aura around this place always seems to keep me calm and collected, the smell of coffee and sweets being made the chatter of people everywhere having conversations and hanging with friends it seems so friendly here like these people have no worries at all. I was snapped out of my thought by my manager Touka "Zach, Hurry up and get dressed. We have a lot of customers today" I nod and walk off and get dressed in my outfit standing waiting for people to come in and serve customers.

I was serving a customer when I heard the door open "Welcome, Mast-" I stop mid-sentence staring wide-eyed at the person I just rejected... Archer King.
