Chapter 4

Taehyun skipping happily into their house and he saw his family at the living room
“Hi everyone” Taehyun greeted Krystal and his grandparents
“Hi Taehyun”
“Woah, my grandson looked so happy tonight” Mr. Jung said
“Doctor said that appa body gave positive reaction towards the medicine that they gave him and he show the signs to wake up but they don’t know when because it up to appa strengths” Taehyun said happily
“That is very good news, thanks God” Mrs. Jung said
“Hope your appa wake up soon” Krystal ruffled Taehyun hair

Later Taehyun go to his room and bump into his mommy at the hallway
“Hi mommy” Taehyun hugged Jessica and peck her cheek then walked away

Jessica wondered why Taehyun suddenly good to her because last night he look angry. She joined her family at the living room
“Why did all of you so happy?” Jessica furrowed her brows
“Taehyun doesn’t tell you anything?” Krystal asked with smiled and Jessica shook her head
“Doctor said Taeyeon showed positive reaction to his medicine and he showed sign of wake up but they didn’t know when because it up to Taeyeon himself” Mrs. Jung said and Jessica just give ‘O’ to them
“You don’t happy to hear that?” Krystal asked curiously
“I-I’m happy” Jessica said hesitantly
“Did you go visit him after you go with Taehyun before?” Mr. Jung asked
“No”
“Why?”
“I’m busy”
“Sooyeon, it’s not hard if you visit him once. He was your husband before and you have Taehyun because of him. Who know after you visit him, he will have more strength to wake up from his long sleep. Poor him, please pay a visit for him even just for a while. Taehyun will be happy if you visit Taeyeon” Mrs. Jung plead and caressed Jessica arm softly
“Ok mom” Jessica nodded

Few days later, Jessica visiting Taeyeon and no one came visiting him that time. She brought a bouquet of flower and put it on the table beside the bed. She stared at Taeyeon face and she sighed.
“Your face really like Taehyun” Jessica said
“Taeyeon-ah, I’m sorry for our past. I knew it was wrong but I’ve to. Sorry for make you suffer and have hard time. Now Taehyun is here for you. Let take care of him together. He needed you more than me. I’m sorry for abandoned him but I love him more than he know. I’ve to go now Taeyeon-ah. Wake up faster ok. Our son is waiting for you” Jessica kiss Taeyeon forehead and she walked out from the room.

Few minutes after Jessica went back, Taeyeon fingers move a bit.

He opened his eyes and he saw a white coloured room that really unfamiliar to him. He felt pain at his head and his whole body. He turned his head and he saw a young man wearing white coat smiled at him. Stethoscope hanged at his neck

“Kim Taeyeon-ssi, you’re awake already” the young man smiled at him. Taeyeon tried to talk but his throat really dried and the man gave him a glass of water. After he gulped it, he felt fresh
“Where am I?” Taeyeon asked weakly
“You’re at hospital now. Two months ago you involved at fatal accident and you coma for time being. I’m Jo Jin Young, your doctor” Taeyeon nodded
“I’ll call your son to tell him that you wake up” Dr. Jo said
“My son?” Taeyeon asked weirdly
“Yes, he said his name Kim Taehyun” Taeyeon just nodded and Dr. Jo walked out from his room after checking his condition

Taehyun on his way back to his classroom after did experiment at the lab with his classmate. Suddenly his phone vibrated and he saw Dr. Jo calling him. He quickly answered because he know whatever Dr. Jo will tell him all is about his appa

‘Hello Kim Taehyun-ssi’ – Dr. Jo
“Yes Taehyun speaking, what is it dr.?” – Taehyun
‘Are you still at school?” – Dr. Jo
‘Yes I am, is there anything happen to my appa?’ – Taehyun
‘Yes Taehyun-ssi and you need to come immediately’ – Dr. Jo
‘Is it something bad?’ – Taehyun
‘No, it was good news. He wake up already’ – Dr. Jo
Taehyun heart almost burst out from his chest. It was what he waiting for. His appa finally wake up. He mentally dancing in joy
‘I’ll go to hospital now doctor’ – Taehyun

He put his phone inside his pocket and run to his classroom to grab his belonging. He ride his motorbike to the hospital

Taehyun open the door and he saw his appa sleep peacefully on the bed. He smiled and put his bag on the couch then walked to his appa. He kissed Taeyeon forehead and his tears rolled down.

Feeling something wet on his face, Taeyeon opened his eyes slowly and he saw someone stand beside his bed stare at him and his lips tugged upwards when he saw Taeyeon stared back at him
“Appa” Taehyun said and smiled
“Taehyun?” Taeyeon looked at Taehyun questioningly
“Yes appa, I’m Taehyun, your son” Taehyun hugged Taeyeon body and cried. Taeyeon hugged him back and rub Taehyun back with his right hand
“Appa, I miss you” Taehyun said as he pulled back from hug and wiped his tears
“I miss you too dear” Taeyeon tears brimming at his eyes, he really hope to see his son come and hugged him and his dream come true
“Appa, I’m sorry for not by your side all this while and I only knew about you after Uncle Yuri and Seohyun noona come to read your will. I really hope to see you in person but I never wished to see you like this. Appa, I’m sorry for not noticed your presence and not be a good son but I promised after this I’ll be good son to you” Taehyun said
Taeyeon chuckled and caressed his son cheek “You really talk a lot Taehyun”
“It because I miss you appa and I have more thing to tell you and want to do with you” Taehyun smiled
“Appa also the same Taehyun but the past let it past and you always be a good son to me. I’m proud of you”
“Thank you appa, I’ll not leave you again after this and I’ll take care of you until forever”
“Me too sweetie, no one can separate us anymore” Taeyeon patted Taehyun shoulder
“Appa, want me to tell everyone about you?” Taehyun played with Taeyeon fingers
“No, appa want to spend time with you”
“Ok appa” Taehyun kissed Taeyeon cheek and Taeyeon chuckled. It was what he dreamed for
“So, tell appa what you did when appa sleep”
“I manage our company with Uncle Yuri and Seohyun noona. I also took care of our café and bakery with Yoona noona. She’s really nice appa and I love the food that she cooked. I met with Aunty Hyoyeon, Aunty Tiffany and Uncle Sooyoung. They are really nice to me. I went to your house thrice and tidy up everything there. I love your house appa. Aunty Krystal and my grandparents you came visit you and they’ll be happy if they know that you already wake up”
“How is your mom?”
Taehyun sighed “Mommy always busy with her business and she never came after the first time we here. Sorry for that appa” Taehyun looked at the floor
“It ok Taehyun, you need to understand mommy. She’s really busy and appa knew it but appa trust that she loved you too. She didn’t mean to not visit appa, maybe her time doesn’t allowed her to do so” Taeyeon smiled assurance
“Ok appa, I’ll understand mommy and now I’ve you so I don’t mind her anymore”
“Don’t talk like that son. Even she doesn’t have time for you, she’s your mommy and you should love her as you love appa. She also needs you”
“I love you and mommy” Taehyun kissed Taeyeon palm “Appa, are you hungry?”
“Sort of”
“What do you want to eat?”
“Chicken porridge?”
“Ok, I’ll buy it for a while. You stay here ok” Taehyun said. He kissed Taeyeon cheek and jogged out from the room. Taeyeon only shook his head at his son antics and he smiled. Finally his wait reached the end and he got his son back.

15 minutes later, Taehyun come back with food. He feed Taeyeon carefully and they joking with each other.

That afternoon, Hyoyeon come to visit Taeyeon. She opened the door and shocked when she saw Taeyeon leaned at the bedpost and Taehyun sat beside him happily on the bed.
“Yah Taeng, you wake up already?” Hyoyeon jogged to him and hugged him tightly
“Yes Hyo, I woke up few hours ago and my junior here the first to know I’m awake” Taeyeon grin
“That good Taeng since he’s always waiting for you. Finally you meet him. I’m happy for you” Taehyun low his head due to shy. Taeyeon smiled at him and kissed his temple

Later, Taeyeon friends come one by one after Hyoyeon informed them about Taeyeon. Taehyun school chairwoman also came to visit him. Jung family come except Jessica.
