---Nick's POV---

"LOUIS, GIVE ME MY SHOES!" I screamed across the house. I had just arrived at my cousin’s house to find that Zayn was having the whole band over, while everyone else is trying to pack and get ready for china, the band is staying at the house for a few days.

I'm Nick Malik and most people say that I’m the spitting image of my cousin Zayn, but for some reason I’ve got blue eyes. I’m the only one in our family with blue eyes and I love it. Anyway I’m 16, I live in Bradford and I have a crazy family. Mum and dad are helping get all of the girls and Aunt Tricia and Uncle Yaser’s suitcases into the car. They’ve been trying for over an hour now.

I was sitting watching, "Australia" with the girls, my sister Peeta, Zayn and the rest of the boys. It was going well until I got up to grab the remote and Louis decided to take my volleys and run around the house, just as the parents said it was time to go.

"Give 'em back," I heard Zayn say just as I jumped on Louis.

Zayn has always been like an older brother to me as I've had a bit of a hard time growing up. I was getting bullied pretty seriously at school and turned to cutting until Zayn made me talk to him. People now know about the bullying but I’ve always kept the self-hurt a secret from others, I don’t feel comfortable telling anyone. The scars are starting to heal but when I have a rough day I sometimes turn back to old ways. Having Zayn to help me go through all that has made us closer and because we look pretty similar people call us twins.

After tackling Niall to get my shoes back, I run out to the car with my carry on packed with my white studio beats, my iPhone, and my Nintendo ds as I'm addicted to Pokémon and I blame it all on one direction for getting me hooked on it.

The drive to the Manchester airport took about 40 minutes because there was a bit of traffic on the roads. The whole time in the car I'm texting Zayn about what stupid things the boys are doing. He said their coming up with new video ideas and Louis’ are all very carrot related such as, “pin the tail on the carrot”, making no sense as a carrot has no tail. He said that Louis is now sulking in the corner because no one liked his idea. 

When we got to the airport I sent a final text back to Zayn saying goodbye and that I will skype him whenever I get the chance. I grab my bag from dad and walk inside, while waiting for my parents to get the tickets and to check the luggage in.

I went to the news agents to by a mag for the trip and seen all of the girly gossip ones covered in one direction pictures. I had to laugh at some of the stories, as most of the things they are saying, aren’t true. I grabbed a car mag and some chewies for the plane ride and go and meet everyone back at the lounge area.

Mum is talking about god knows what to dad, aunt and uncle. Being the only boy here I'm stuck listening to girly gossip from Doniya, Waliyha, Peeta and Safaa about Justin Bieber, Cody Simpson, Conor Maynard and some other famous pop stars.

 "I can't believe the lengths that some 1D fans go to get a glimpse of the boys," Peeta says while reading the latest gossip mag, "it's actually amazing what they do, look! Running after their car down a busy street! That's just crazy!." The girls keep going on about their rant about the guys fans but I zone out after a while and just read my car mag.

"Flight BR143 to Beijing, china is now boarding," says the loud voice over the speakers. We all grab our bags and head towards the gate and we get on pretty quickly as where first in line. I get a window seat next to Peeta and Safaa, and take out my headphones and listen to my relax mix. I settle down looking forward to the journey ahead.
