Gentle Breeze and Gentle Thoughts

~Vic's POV~

"Kells come on hurry it's late out and I want to get to bed already," I whispered. I had taken him out on a date and the drive in theatre was a good hour away from our place so it was already 1 in the morning when we had gotten back and I was exhausted.

"I'm coming, I'm coming! Just- ugh vic help me!" Kellin whined as his shoes and phone fell onto the wet and cold grass causing him to groan and curse under his breath.

"Alright... why didn't you put your shoes on in the car?" I asked curiously wondering why he had taken the time to find a good radio station on our way back rather than putting his shoes back on. I walked up to where he was standing and grabbed his dropped items of the floor pocketing his phone and holding his shoes in my hand.

"Cause its to much work, and having enjoyable music on a long car ride is much more important." He said scoffing at my question as if that wasn't the most obvious answer. Once he was collected I grabbed his hand in mine and lead him up the driveway to the front door of our house, I stood behind kellin as he fumbled with the keys to open the front door. Once it was open we stepped in, I dropped his shoes onto the floor right next to the door following him up the stairs.

"Hey Jazz." He said greeting our grey kitten as he had walked into the room and spotted her laying upon the bed after turning my bedside lamp on, petting her gently as he sat down next to her.

"I'm gonna go use the restroom be right back," I said breaking the silence causing him to look up at me, he nodded and gave a small smile at me before I turned to the restroom in our room. As I was washing my hands I looked at my reflection in the mirror only now noticing how tired I looked, I gave my face a quick splash then patted it down with a towel before I opened the door. I had expected to see Kellin laying in bed already but I was met with an empty bedroom, although i could hear the waves and as I looked to my left I saw that the doors leading to our balcony were open so I assumed he was out there. I moved the curtains out of the way and saw him there sat on the small sofa we had bought not to long ago looking out at the waves as they crashed against each other and the shore.

"It's really nice out isn't it?" I asked, enjoying the breeze and the sound of the ocean as it was still alive even at this hour. I took a seat next to him and grabbed his hand as he laid his head on my shoulder.

"Mhm," he hummed. We had stayed out in the balcony for a few minutes before he relaxed and had soft snores coming from his sleeping figure. I admired him and the way he was still so gentle while sleeping. I loved Kellin a lot and he knew it, nothing could ever change that.

I picked him up cautiously as to not wake him from his peaceful sleep carrying him over to our bed and placing him down on it, I noticed he had changed into just a shirt so I didn't feel the need to undress him and just pulled the covers up over him. I walked over to the balcony door deciding to just leave it open but shut the curtains a bit more. I stripped down to just my boxers and got into bed with Kellin after having turned my bedside lamp off, snuggling close to him and drifting off.
