"Pain is making you foolish Elias," Mel added a flair to my anger.

How could they say this when Alisha was gone, dead? Can they not feel the pain that I was feeling?

"Then let's kill the evil Magic god first," I said with a feel of hysteria.

Apparently, the heinous crime of killing closest to my heart made me open a chance to black magic. They forced Alisha to do this through their plans now they will realise they messed with the wrong person.

I confronted Kirk in prison we threw him into after Alisha- did- what she did.

He was no match for the amount of darkness flowing through me in that moment. But Matthew was stronger who Agnes got out in this timeline made the fight actually worthwhile. It was not a stupendous showdown of two powerful magicians. It was more like him defending himself as my rage and magic attacked him relentlessly.

I killed him without a remorse or second thought as the red smoke from my hand engulfed him and his spells leaving no trace of the powerful god of magic, at least in this century.

I didn't even stop to question as I finally killed the evil with little effort realising my extent of power.

I knew it was not a dream even before it started. But it felt like one.

I was standing in a castle that smelled of blood and death. The stank air made bile rise in my throat and my hands reach out to sword next to me but it was gone.

"It will be useless anyway." A gruff voice said out of darkness.

And then the place lighted up with dull red light like blood splattered on the wall that was dull grey with no portraits or additional decorations. Just black iron lamps that were reflecting the red light on the walls around.

"Who are you?" I asked the most important question.

I walked closer and saw a man sitting on a golden throne. He was old, with greying hair, a face that was intimidating and his aura so powerful that he had an invisible shield around him.

"Hades." He answered and I waited for fear to sink in but it never came.

I was too angry for fear to take over.

He was the god of death and Alisha was dead, it was simple.

"I want her back," I declared looking clearly at his eyes which were unsettling due to the raven black colour and it was like staring into the depths of endless darkness.

"Of course you do. That what love does makes you foolish and blind."

"I don't remember asking for your opinion." I snapped at him.

He chuckled lightly but there was nothing nice about that chuckle.

"I am generous to powerful people Elias." He stated and I felt a flicker of hope in me.

"But you will ask for something in return," I added in a dry tone obviously knowing where this was going.

I have dealt with similar men in court.

His conniving smile answered my question.

"I need to maintain a balance in this world Elias and for that something needs to be done."

"Sure whatever makes you happy. Now give her back so I can leave this godforsaken place."

"god is right here." He tried to humour me but I just glared at him.
