3 Days later ; Friday

It's been 3 days since I've seen or heard from Keith. I know he has a life outside of therapy, but he's missed a few days.

I decided I'll call him, but there was no answer.

I started back on my paper work until my phone rang.

I looked at it and it was Keith.

"Hi, Keith I was-"

"Josephine, I'm sorry I couldn't make it to any of my appointments. The past few days..have uhm, not been great." He sighed.

"What happened," I asked, now concerned.

"It's-its Malena. She's in the hospital right now and..I swear, I think I'm about to lose it."

He sounded anxious and angry instead of upset.

"Do you need me to come up there? I'll take off of work and-"

"No-no. I'm fine," he sighed.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

He finally agreed for me to come to the hospital. I hope it's not out of my place to be there, knowing that I'm just his therapist.

I made it to the hospital in 30 minutes. I quickly walked through the hospital doors where I found Keith sitting in the waiting room.

Just great.

Once Keith spotted me, he immediately got up and walked towards me.

"Is everything alright?" I asked.

I saw his wife get up and squinted her eyes at me as she walked towards us.

"I don't know, she won't tell me anything." He responded.

"What are you doing here?" She asked me.

"I told her to come up here," Keith said, now looking irritated.

"Don't let me find out you've been messing around with her too."

"The hell are you talking about? She's my therapist." Keith said.

"Are you sure? Because the last you told me your 'manager' was just 'tying your shoe laces'. You can tie your own damn shoes, you're not 4 years old."

Her tone got louder which made a few people turn their heads towards us.

"She was being helpful. See, this is why I can't take you anywhere." Keith sighed as he threw his head back.

"It's not like you take me anywhere," she snapped.

Keith instantly gave her a deep stare.

"You weren't invited here," she said as she crossed her arms.

"Uhm-I was just-"
