Friday came bearing the weight of your love

The break of dawn promised me to be rough

The silver lining hid behind a cloud

I can hear the ache of your love aloud

Something in the way you move caught my eye

Seems graceful but the walk was sadly sly

I wonder why the bad seduce the good

The perfect villain lay under the hood

The ceiling cracked, the wall began to shake

The truth began to question my mere make

I wonder if the dark horse found its way

When love and hatred everyday do stray

Friday went bearing the weight of your world

Saturday came to make me tender old
