Never confuse the character of me

With the attitude I have towards you

The former depends on the soul in me

The latter depends on the likes of you

Never confuse the faith you have in me

As a sign of redemption on your part

Let me remind you of a time when we

Were strong 'cause I'm the one who held your heart

And hands, but now, these days, I do pity

The one who will follow in my footsteps

For she will come to face the horror, see

The ugly that has failed hidden's attempts

But then again women tend to be blind

To the untamed truth right before their eyes
