It started with dreams I couldn't remember.
In the back of my mind they'd wait for me. For when I was completely vulnerable.
At times of high stress I don't usually dream, my brain tends to completely shut down once I eventually drag myself to bed from my studio. With practices, performances, another mixtape and an album to prepare for over the next few months plus a world tour coming up my life was hectic to say the least. I absolutely love it though.
Creating music is a big part of my existence. The stress was not only from having to practice dances so I wouldn't embarass my Bangtan brothers and because I wanted to avoid disappointing my ARMY family as they deserve nothing but my best but because of the rumours.
Usually I ignore them but these were playing on my mind. I had heard and seen so called stories linking me to a fan I had never met. I had received fan letters and gifts from her, but we had yet to meet. The dreams started a few weeks after the first rumour surfaced. Apparently I was the reason a family broke down.
I had my suspicions over who was the source, but couldn't prove it where both my fan and her ex lived in a different continent. She had told me about her situation and how I had saved her life and gave her strength and a reason to live.
As time passed the rumours began to lessen as there was no proof, not even indirectly. My dreams only got worse.
Fast forward to a month later and I started feeling things during my dreams. All I could remember was tangling my fingers in soft fluffy hair and kisses that sent shivers through my body whenever the memory flashed through my mind. I couldn't seem to remember her face though.
We had successfully completed another world tour. Now I had a little more time to relax and more time for my dreams to intensify. The kisses became caresses. I knew her body as well as I knew mine. She made me weak. I surrendered wholeheartedly. Every touch was burned onto my skin when I woke up, but never her face.
Any time I tried to direct my dreams so I could see her I'd wake up and she'd be just a memory, the sensation of her lips all I could recall. I lost focus a few times during the day, but only when I was in my studio. I'd feel a flash of sensation and the world faded a little each time.
The dreams increased, the feelings so real I'd wake up in a sweat, fully erect and aching for release. The mystery girl had infected my senses with her invisible presence.
Suddenly one morning, in the early hours before dawn I realised who she was. I went through my fanmail and found her last letter. It had come with a picture and her Kakao ID. I rushed back to my studio, not wanting to disturb my roommate Tae. I called her, not caring about the 8 hour time difference.
There was no answer and I deflated. I sank to the floor wondering what she could possibly be doing, when I heard a voice. Pleasure rushed through my body so it had to be her. I felt her remove my clothes slowly. Seductively dropping kisses as everything came off. I could feel her as if she was right in front of me and let myself be carried away by her skillful touches.
It didn't matter that we were technically strangers. We knew each other in a primal way, on a level I had never experienced before. Her hands, her mouth and her body transported me through space and time, the world ceased to exist. Each wave of pleasure pulled me under and drove me higher than I ever thought was possible. I exploded and transcended my body. My essence fused with hers and for a brief moment, for eternity, we were one.
I woke completely spent back in my room. I checked my phone saw her message, and knew what we had experienced was real.
"사랑해, 내 세상" I love you, my world.
